I killed this mob recently on my level 80 bard. I had a J3 merc healer too...expect a boring fight. It takes awhile to kill him but it is relatively simple, just make sure that your merc is on efficient if you are using one otherwise I am pretty sure it will be out of mana before the mob has died
One grouped

One grouped, 75 paladin, 74 warrior, 69 ranger, 75 enchanter, 75 2.0 monk, 75 2.0 shaman(boxed). Shammy HoT to the monk who was tanking, he engaged and was pulled to the top of the hill, where the panda spawns. Shammy hit him with Malis rk II, then slowed with Balance of Discord. Rest of the group just dpsed, save the paladin who packhealed. Kept monk alive, no casualties, and went flawlessly.

One thing I notices was that the dispell that is inherent in the AE did not take effect if the AE itself was resisted.

One more crystal down!
Did with 4

Took this guy last night with 4 (sorta 3). He was already up WITH Dire Panda. The tank tanked both as Panda wasnt mezzable. Had a 75 Bard, Cleric, Warrior and Necro. Warrior was high end but didn't hardly needs heals really. Fight was maybe 5 mins, Shm ran up and maloed at 20% health and necro could then land dots. Was very trivial compared to posts I read.

Luckily the dragon didn't spawn again when Panda died or would have had 2.

Yeeeouch,
PoV is the poo

PoV is definately the way to go. Get the MT and clerics to heal him in group with you and let everyone else either eat the AE or do ranged damage. Keeping the clerics and MT from getting stunned is what wins the encounter. DPS makes it go faster.

1 grouped him with 5 people (cleric, bard, warrior, shaman, wizard) in mostly qvic gear or better. Boxed another cleric outside of group but didn't really need him. Was pretty easy with psalm of veeshan for resists. This dire panda that spawns this dragon is found kinda in the middle of the zone, a bit to the east. Once the dire panda is killed, this dragon spawns but will not agro your group until you agro it. It's a belly dragon so should slow and nuke from under it. Cleric just used CH on tank and shaman just patched if needed. Tank had about 13k-14k buffed I believe. The mob does rampage and enrage. Hope this info helps.

Max hit on our paladin tank was 1900. His AE stone breath is a 500dd and short stun. He casts it often enough to break Complete Healing. We tried moving our clerics down the hill to try to block the AE but couldn't get out of range. It also strips buffs, so be ready to junk buff like on the old dragon raids. Tried it twice with 3 groups of VT to GoD geared people but couldn't get him down past 50% before clerics were oom from fast heals.

I was able to kill this dragon with 14 people, none of whom are Time flagged or GoD equipped. My guild is in the EPs, but only recently, so most of us only have a few VT/EP quality items. I used Puretone right as the Dragon spawned, and singing Psalm of Veeshan in the group with the tank and healers, we resisted the AE most of the time. We did still get hit a few times, and it took much longer than we expected. If it had lasted too much longer the clerics would have been OOM, but as it was, we succeeded with just a few deaths.
