On our 2nd visit to this guy to do the Mage turn-in, he leads you into the next room.

We were invis'd but the mobs inside and out agro'd and we died (two of us). So right now it seems like the room should be cleared first.

edit:
Additional reading research says:

1. All the KOS mos will from Gnaaps room will assist when you get agro from Tagrin in the next room.
2. You need to kill the KOS mobs in Gnaap's room first,
3. If you can lose agro, try to pull Tagrin outside and then feign death or whatever to lose agro and get rid of the swords.
4. Don't try to kill the swords, I hear they repop until Tagrin is dead.

We'll see how this goes next time.

The see-invis mobs on the way there are the winged guys. You can pretty much invis around all the other mobs and wait for the winged guys to move or run around them. I ended up fighting 3 of them and only had one add.

Once in the final room there are some daiku who see invis but it's a pretty roomy place to move around. One of my see-invis mobs I fought was here but I had no adds. Mostly the room is full of names who are not kos.

Gnapp is in the NE corner hidden in some rocks, to the right of big door to the north. There is one small room to the North still but you can ignore it.

There is lava around the area, I found it hard to spot and easy to step in. Short guys might have to make an effort to look up to get out of it.

When you enter this room careful there are a few see invis, wait till the wandering one is to your left on other side of lava then run towards lava, take a right run along, over the bridge, right again, over bridge then run over rocks he is sitting down there.

Check none of the mobs to the right of entrance, on other side of lava see invis.

Easy to get there if you avoid wraiths and /con all mobs

The strat at eqsummoners.com states that Elemental Essence of Fire can be spawned again immediately. I would like to say that this is not true, Gnaap has a 2-hour respawn time.

To specify further what was said above about Gnapp ignoring you. You have to have not only completed the Akkstaaf's minion encounter, but then Make sure that you go to PoT first and hail Miak Searedsoul at the plane of fire port in. If you dont go to Miak first and say "What elemental essences" then Gnapp will ignore you as said above.

Possible to invis right to Gnaap, just make sure to hug the zone walls opposite the gargoyles and they wont aggro you.

Don't bother trying to get to Gnaap though if you havent completed past the Najena Akkstaafs Minion, because he is just ignore you

Hope this has been of help

(He is not level 70, he is green to lvl 70, -lvl 50)
