How much hp does it have? I'm a 71 mage with cleric merc, think I can take it solo? I've read that the hosts can be mezzed, but keeping all nine of them under control seems tedious. Is it possible to nuke hard and say demise before wiping? I'm gonna try it, I just wanted some Intel :-)

It was no problem. Fortify and FB on pet, popped fire core and spammed nukes, also Rs pet from start. Mezzed first host and then kept nuking. Five hosts spawned in total. Fight didn't last very long. Yay!

Ok, I thought that everybody would want to know this. This guy is not lvl 20, he is lvl 70. He conned white to me today. (lvl 70 rogue) Hope this makes everybody more prepared than what you would be if you listened to the posted lvl like I did.

Dropped him with 4 ppl, a 67 pally, 61 clr, 69 chanter and me lvl 70 mage...
Just bring ppl who knows how to play their classes. (Non of us has any uber-gear, its mostly from VT)
Pally tanked and i chain nuked, chanter kept the Host of Akksstaff's mezzed as soon as they poped. Fight was over pretty quick and we didnt bother to kill the Host's. Just talk to Akksstaff as soon as the minion is dead (say -Demise) and you get your book =)

Did this fight with about 8 or 10 people. I would say DPS is best thing for this fight. We killed him so fast that only 2 Hosts were spawned. Think this guy spawns 1 mob every 30 seconds up to 9 adds? Not sure like I said we killed so fast only got 2 adds.
