I'm embarrassed to say that I was heading for an epic 1.5 turnin to Athele and this little guy came out of nowwhere wacking on me. Killed me pretty quick as well! Going back for him shortly! Buffed and ready to go! I think he may need a debuff as he might partially heal at least once. He seems to have a lot of hp too. Green to me at 72.

- 5 / 31/ 07 - 11 am est, Soloed him with my 71 war, have about 2100 AC 10k hp . Most hits were for 100-150, sometimes got upto 300 on a hit, Used a HoT potion, and my discs, went down w/ no problems. Spawns in SE corner near fishing camp. Pulled him out with no problems, and began my beatdown.

So here I was making the long trek to Highhold Keep with my twinked out 15 warrior with temp on him. Went through the trouble to avoid griffons/griffawns and all, a werewolf or two, and I think I even ran past an HG on the way to EK. Got there and got a little lost cause the map wasn't showing where Highhold was, came here for reference and had ended up by the barbarian fishing area. Started walking over to the adjacent farm, and was standing there getting my bearings on where to go, when this bastard hits me 3 times for about 1200 dmg total. Next think I know I get hit for another 500+ dmg and I'm still trying to figure out what the hell hit me. Little bastard.....decided it wasn't worth trying to navigate all the way back just to go to Highhold. But ONE day, this f***er will die slow...

Just Duoed him with Warrior/Druid (Warrior is me and i alrdy have 1.5 didnt know he was for it and he agroed so i killed) Hes a puss just make sure u got some heals

Wow, think I will run over and kill him for my epic 1.5 drop to avenge all the druid/ranger deaths. This thread is too funny.

This guy killed me while I was marking my map to do my druid epic bit later this evening... sooo annoying. Couldn't even outrun him with soe.

Any idea if he kills Althele when he's up? Been waiting here for a while :(

was doing spell quest for ranger and he jumped us.

we where a group of 50s. it conned DB yes well...... we took him down to about 97%, we barely touched him lol and we where mostly all down to 20%, thank god for wiz in group!!!!!!!!

SOE has a sick sense of humor to put such uber mobs that AGGRO in NEWBIE places.

I've been leveling my young 22 V.S. BST here lately. I've gotten into the habit of running to the fishing village to sell what I loot, and kept seeing this guy pathing back and forth along the trail.
He seems to spawn in the South Eastern corner area and then path along the trail that runs toward the hill with the gnolls (parallel to the river).

In 4 RL days of playing (many, many Norathian days) I have never seen him during the daytime, only at night.

I was actually going to go and hail him thinking he might be a quest/Task related NPC. Good thing I /conned him first! Blood Red and Ready to attack.
No clue about how big his agroe radius is, but he was just a little outside my spell range. (22 BST - no extended range focus items)

\Just duo'ed this guyu.. 66 war/68 shm... We pulled to gnoll obelisk and shm slowed.. he hit me maybe 5 times... his hp sucked.. Shm pull pet swarm and i whacked on him.. He died fast..

Just a note, as of today (April 2nd, 2005) this guy does summon. Took out a 62 Necro and Druid with little to no problem. I (62 necro) had him dotted with 6 dots and he still did me in. Only had him to 75% and he kept summoning me. Next time I will have FD up first. :)

Lol: Well 3 of us a 67 Necro 61 Ranger and 59 Druid go to do Druid turn in for Druids Epic 1.

Next thing I hear is Druid going WTF!!!! and running around us in circles. He dies and Nerco and myself kill it. Happy Necro had Agro as she keep herself healed by LT the sucker, ran Trueshot of on him after slowing him with Earthcaller.

Pain, for 55 he seems more like a 65. But luckly it is straight melee.

Happly Necro Rezed Druid and we finished his turn ins.

Was doing the ranger epic for a 55 ranger in my guild. She ran across this guy, so our druid goes to see if he could kite him off her. They both died. Being a curious mage, I went to see what the commotion was about. Solo'd this guy down to 76% hp before I decided to gate out. Pet was at 20%, and being hit faster than I could heal.

Ranger had to resart her epic, which fortunately didn't take long.

I was wandering around EK...farming some silks and the like. I see this gnome...think "hey I should con him"...Next thing I knew I was being attacked. I did not have a chance to run because he hit so fast. He took my lvl 65 wizard out like nothing. (unbuffed..)

I grab a rez from a guildie pally, then he logs on his Mage, we get a Beastlord (both 66) and a 65 ranger. The four of us took him out with only the rager getting hit for about 40 pct when the booger summoned her.

I was not really paying attention to spawn time, but it did seem when I lead my friends to his area, we had to look for him. Then suddenly he was there. (I was picking up the ranger to track him when the mage the gnome.)

So...he can be taken out with less than a full grp of 65+ (pre EP gear), he prolly is a night spawn, oh and he seems to be highly magic resistant, but fire sticks nicely.

yea, i just did my turn in for epic 1.5 when i saw this guy standing near me. i was like uh..i wonder if he is kos, when i conned him he attacked me so i was like, hell no you didnt and i snared him and shot him with my bow. after a few shots he summoned me. i was like wow, didnt expect that he hit me for like 200, i was like hmm not too hard but i cant really tank it being a gar and all =P, i'll just let it regen and walk away, yea come to find out he hits for a little more than 200.......try...658. so i was like wow, sh*t i'd better run, and he kept summoning me, i popped ws hoping he'd gain enough hp to stop summoning..i was at around 20% i started healing...and then it was down and i tried to run and i died, hope any of this helps.

...while I was adding to my map. Hit me 3 times (#1 for 350+, #2 for 650+, #3 for 650+) and I was back at my bind point. Con'ed white to me at 55 (I was 56 until he jumped me).

Ok, here's a hint for everyone. I've been in EK for the last two weeks on and off, it seems he crawls out of the wood work only at night. I was a 26 rngr and I was out doing the ole farming silks when I got ran out of mana I decided to do a little fishing like I always have, so I run over to the water and b4 I get there, the infamous "returning to homeport" comes up. I think he killed me just by looking my way. So, now while I'm farming I always look for him on track, but only see him at night. Now at night if I want to fish I run towards the NK border and fish that water. :)

First encountered this lil pain in the ass when while farming silk i got the loading screen of death.Aglitch while summoning my body kept me in the zone for a couple of hours while waiting to here back from a GM.2 65+ lvl players showed up to look for him but he was nowhere to be found.I offered out of boredom to keep an eye out and give em a shout when he popped.
He Spawns near the fishing village at the base of the southwest side of mountain.Seems to be on a cycle of 30 minutes til he Despawns and 45 til he spawns again. The only safe place to observe him was along the shore line as he has a SICK agro range.He wanders back and forth in an east to west fasion in that corner of the zone.I never saw him stray from that area but his pathing was primarily back and forth.Also seems to run at SoW speed or faster.Even at the range of barely being visible, he still agroed to me while watching him.Hope this info is of some help....i personally can't wait til i'm a higher lvl (i was a 26 druid at the time..)to exact a little payback on him for the 2 days of petition hell he caused me....Happy hunting!

Was doing some exploring in EK last night. His agro range is huge. He ran through my lvl 24 toon with out even stopping to swing. Now I have to find someone for a CR or else get wacked again. :(

Attacked me whilst I was tryiong to do turn in to Athele. Summons. Can be sanred and rooted.
