Where to Camp?
# Mar 03 2005 at 10:54 AM Rating: Decent
Okay, I've been to his spawn location, I think, lol. Where did you camp to pull to? There whee MoB's every where and if there wasn't a MoB there, there was a wanderer coming through soon. It looks like a great spot to XP in since there is a ton of MoBs to pull from.

Right next to his spawn, looking at him from teh front, go up the hill directly to the right of him, and thats a safe spot.. its right above the entrance to the murk cave, you can pull him to there single everytime.

Sometimes you WILL get adds when fighting in this location. Murks from the tunnel directly below you will come up to help thier buddy. I have camped him many times and this is my favorite spot to kill him. None of use were usuing AoE so that is not reason for adds.

The adds are usually no more than two but have had up to 6 on us, we evaced. Some guildees think that adds are due only to mobs that were trained and can not wander back to spawn point. Honestly I have no idea, just thought I would mention that it is possible, that that it does happen from time to time.

loc right or not?

I have killed the dog at loc neg 1060 neg 535 neg 300 about 40 times, not Ungi. I think we need a better spawn location please.

Thanks in advance!

ukun dog is ungi's PH hes just up the walkway on the left of the tunnel enterance, you can climb the cliff behind the ukun and pul him single up the cliff,

not the ukan with the archer mob next to him fyi :)

So what now? Is the given loc right or not? At this loc is a dog, in front of him a noc, left of him a Kyv and behind in right corner a dragorn.

I believe the correct loc is a combination of the locs posted already. Locs entered into the in-game mapping system are different than the in-game '/loc' command, so I think that's where the confusion comes into play.

In-game '/loc' command coordinates (at least first two) are probably "pos 926, neg 432". That's North/South coordinates first, followed by West/East coordinates. This makes sense when looking at the map. While I've never seen him pop, I believe that I have killed his placeholder (according to the comments posted here).

For directions from the zone-in, just follow the main path which takes you to the "outdoor" part of the zone. Ahead and left, there will be a bridge. Crossing that bridge will lead you to another bridge which enters a covered area (similar to zone-in) with Murkgliders galore. After you make your way through this series of 'murkglider tunnels', you will again come to an "outdoor" section. As soon as you enter this section, the placeholder should be immediately to the right and behind you, up the hill. (There is an entire outdoor section behind/right of this area that I didn't really explore other than the ph.)

Note that there will be a dragorn before you get to the ukun ph. To the exact right when entering this area from the murk tunnel is a kyv and ukun almost on top of each other, near the first bridge. Scanning left, next is the first bridge (leading off to the right) with two static dragorn guards and several wanderers including 'Ukun Fleshhunter'. Continuing left, there is another bridge that leads pretty much straight back and is guarded by two more static dragorns, as well as a wandering Ikaav. This is the bridge that leads to Lirah the Bridgekeeper. Directly to the left and slightly behind this bridge is where 'a Dragorn Prodigy' (Anguish signet drop) spawns. Slightly more to the left is where 'Stoneworker Stonetooth' spawns. The left-most part of this area is filled with mostly static stone golems.

Duo

Duo'd him with non-EP geared 70 Beast and Badly Bazaar geared 65 cleric. Runs on low health, pretty quicky. Didn't resist anything I cast on him (root, MoRetribution). I was oom at the end of it (about 4k mana), as was the BL. Would say he hits for about 900-1200, but I never got hit so it's a guestimate.

This loc is outside the instanced zone cave above the Dragorn laborer spawn. Sure this is the right loc? Didn't see him in 3 spawns clearing everything around... got 2 Dragorn commoner rings though.
