If you head north from the "portals" room you will pass some "tents". To your right will be some ruins with about 5 girplans in. Keep going to another tent and ahead you will see a largish building at around loc 1200, 750.
There is one girplan immediately outside the doorway to the building and two more a little south east.
His placeholder is the eastern one of those two.
Aggro range here is quite large.
Only killed him twice so far and got one of each drop (plus one 68 rune). The second time he proced Girplan Chatter.

He doesn't have a static spawn point. He can pop at any of those Girplan spawns around the tent. My group killed him 5 times last night and he popped in 4 different places. Dropped the wrist everytime and a Lesser rune 4 out of the 5 times. Now if we could just get the Mastercrafter to come out and play...

nice drops on this fatty boy here, took him down tonight with my 66 war, and he dropped the aug :)

The augment he drops is called "Stone of Resilience", a +15 AC type 7 augment.

Conned red to me as well at Level 68. Dropped a 15 AC No Drop Aug, Less Muramite Rune, and some Fatty Girplan Meat to snack on. My Force of Piety stun (good to lvl 70) also did not stick on him. Spawned North of the Tents, on the North side of the zone.

i think the lvl of this mob is incorrect, i'm lvl 68, and hes conned red to me everytime my group has killed him tonight and we've killed him 3 times so far

lol at 68 he will be red since he is say lvl 71 mob
