Can spawn a chest with additional loot after a shaman at the right point in the epic 2.0 loots the Reviving Potion of Might.

This mob will spawn at locate -140, +1000. Just keep killing the room and it will eventually spawn. Took me a little over 7 hours.

Hey all, ok so I've been camping this stupid spawn for like 30 spawn cycles so far. I don't know if it's because after camping something so long (HATE TIMESINKS!) that you start to question yourself or not, but I noticed the following: Each cycle of 25 minutes there are 4 roamers in the room, which I assume are all PHs for the Bloated Girplan. However every 4 or 5 cycles I have noticed that only 3 spawn instead of 4. Is it possible that the missing 4th spawn on those cycles is supposed to be the Girplan? Thoughts?

Soloed fairly easily, Level 81 Shaman with J5 Merc and pet, Tier 1 armor. I was unable to slow or malo it or even feral it, but just kept the merc and pet healed and used Talisman of Cougar... and it was dead after a 5 - 10 min battle. Was also able to miraculously pull it single out of the room by walking to top edge of the steps and it aggroed on me when it got close, the other mobs were apparently far enough away at the time.

Soloed him lvl 90 shaman T4 geared with pet and J5 merc Tank, did infusion of faithfull , very easy fight .

Duoed with Tank merc.
LVL 80 in group gear.
PITA to spawn but it's not a hard fight.
Approx. 500,000 HPS
Max Hit 1196. Avg DPS on J3 Tank merc: 300.
Use Blood of Nadox when you or your merc gets the DOT. Radiant Cure works too in a pinch.

Cleared room 1x (all 4 mobs at once w/ tank merc - pet died) ... he spawned. Tried with just my team, went oom too fast .. brought some friends, killed it easily.
Next spawn .. another Bloated Girplan ... had already made the combine for epic so tried looting again to see if a chest would spawn, it didn't.

Just some usefull information about this fight. If you have infusion of the faithful use it the mana drain dot will not hit you. As this dot is the hardest thing to defeating this mob that makes it super easy.
I got him to spawn, after numeerous clearings of the room, approximately 25 over a whole week. We took him out with a 76 Pally, 76 shaman, 80 bst, 76 wizard box and 71 lvl cleric box. We also had the HP campfire up, and are of average gear.
When done we were oom, on all toons and low on health, but we succeded.

AND TRYING TO BREAK THE CAMP AS A SOLO SHAMAN...(PITA)
ASKING FOR HELP FROM YOUR GUILD TO SIT AROUND HOURS ON END TO MAKE NEXT TO NOTHING IN XP, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.

Anyone else having trouble spawning this mob? Spent several hours, cleared PH's through at least 15 or 20 cycles & no Griplan. I know I'm in right place, as have done it before LOC +129,-1812, 54.

Duo'ed him with my paladin main and shaman twink. Very easy fight.
key to fight is to remove the dot thats on u. it overwrites kei, and can b removed by blood of nadox/the level 51 remove poision spell that shamans get.

Killed with 3 people today.. 75 Cleric, 75 Monk, 73 Shaman. Fairly easy fight.
just kicked his ass with 5 peeps, brad boxin a ranger 2 shammys and a cleric took about 12 minutes but we did it np :) although we were all outta mana 0% at tha end but can be done 1 grouped :) lood luck shmmys

I went and spawned this guy by solo camping his PHs... Hard to break the camp as a shaman solo... But once it's broken it wasn't that bad.
My shaman AC is 2180 and HP is 12k with max defensive AAs.
I got this guy to spawn after about 4 room clearings.
Tried to solo him just to see how hard he hits, yeah I knew I would die... Just wanted the max hit info for when I got a group or 2 together to kill him.
His max hit on me was 1255.... most hits were around 600-800. I was actually able to stay up for minute or so on just potion HoT, 1.5 click and self heals.
He does rampage.
Not sure if he quad hits... I don't think he did.

Mob was up when i did my 2.0 fights,now im hearing you have to keep killing normal room spawns till Girplan spawns.Anyone confirm this?

I can confirm that it has a PH in that room and will spawn evenutally. Did it for me today after about 5 or 6 room spawns.

Cleared room once today (2 kyv, 2 Ikaav) since I was not sure what room Druid earthshaker popped in. Girplan popped on the first respawn of the room.

He also ae's for 1200 if iirc
His only drop was Reviving Potion of might but no one in the raid could loot it. Must be an epic piece for Mage/Rogue/or Zerker cuz thats the only classes we didnt have to try and loot it.

Reviving Potion of might = sham epic 2.0
you could not loot it becouse they have invented items that check your char flags. if the sham does not have epic 1.5 done and afew steps after that it is unlootable. very good chance a chest will spawn once a sham loots the potion tho and guaging from this mobs diffaculty the item in the chest will prolly be 230+ hp.

We did him last night, we tried all classes except Berserker. So if you kill this guy, make sure you bring a berserker!

Once again, this is for the shaman epic 2.0. Just make sure you bring a shaman who has finished 1.5 and the corollary steps leading to this guy, and that player will be able to loot the potion.
