Dranik Blood Standard does indeed drop from him. I thought it was listed in error due to never seeing it drop after killing the battleleader 20 or so times over the course of time.
2 70 druids all it took ended with aobut 50m was pretty easy but be better if he didnt snare
Sleep is a sugestion, just like speed limits.

The spawn rate on this mob is horrible from what I have seen, maybe others have had better luck.
Dropped a dragorn battleleader today with 3 (67 war/67 cle/68 enc). He dropped the SK ring.

This is the most boring camp ever in EQ. The Battleleader mob is easy, but he is spawning so rarely that it isnt fun any more. Spent 12h at this camp, 35 x PH and 1 x Battleleader.

Spawn rate is low.
I've been soloing the murkgliders there, killing
the dragorn roamer whenever it pops, and only this
weekend did I see the battleader spawn after
maybe 25 kills.
The jerk summons too, not a nice thing to do to a solo kiter >.<

You were just unlucky - he seems to spawn pretty much at the same rate as other NC rares - maybe 1 in 5 or 6 in my experience. Even had him back to back last night.
As you can also do the Poisonous Murk from the same spot, I would say this is quite a good camp.
You even get the occasional grandstand view of people wiping against Bone Cracker :)

You must be lucky as I rarely get this mob to pop, I usually do 5 hour camps on this guy with the Poison Murk and sometimes he never pops, sometimes just once.
Just an added note: this is one of the fast summoners, he summons much more often than the regular summoners we are used to fighting. I imagine he can still be soloed by some classes, but dont expect to have time to get off normal spells between summons.

Ok, tried to do this guy in today, but got waxed from being summoned and snared, so I couldn't get far enough away from him to get a lifetap off or the rune back up. Weird thing though, we waited maybe 15 20 min to reform and get some friends in to help, but as we were ready to go again, he was gone, and a ranja with max tracking couldn't see him either. Does he infact despawn after being aggroed and not killed??

a Dragorn Battlemaster spawns inside Riftseekers Sanctum and it only drops the signet..the other loot that is listed here is from the Dragorn Battleleader that is in Nobles causeway

Me (lvl 67 druid) and a 69 Mage duo'd this guy today. He is yellow to a 67 and dark blue to 69, so he is obviously lvl 68. He roams on the ledge between the bridge at Slavedriver Menlo to just before Bone Crackers pit. Did not see invis. Summons, did not cast(although it killed the mages swarm pets all in one shot somehow). It wasn't too difficult duo, although I did have to pretty much chain heal the mages pet with Natures Infusion. It dropped Dranik Blood Standard, used for OOW quest armor. The only placeholders that spawned in place of him were a dragorn armsman and a dragorn prelate that I saw over a few hours time. 20 minute respawn.
I've killed it 3 times now. Dropped the Dranik Blood Standard, Blacklink Band, Silverine Band and Lesser Muramite Rune.
