I killed this guy a couple of mornings ago with my 66 bard / 66 mage, with a tank and cleric merc. The actual kill was very easy, it's pulling him that is the pain. I pulled him with my bard with max defensive AAs (for my level) and Psalm of Veeshan playing. He still stunned me twice on the pull and FD'd me once.

Once I got him to the tank it was fine though. I put the cleric merc in reactive stance and she only used half her mana. He did AE FD us twice, but it was still an easy kill.

The max hit that I saw was for 2400 on the mage when he got summoned once. He hit me for a total of about 5k on the pull.

I'm sure that killing him is no problem for a 75+ character with decent gear, but for me it was a challenge.

He doesn't have a lot of hp, so I think the best strategy is just to fight him in place and burn him down if there are no adds around.

As others have mentioned, be sure to click or hit stand when he casts FD on you, not just try to move forward.

Edit: Both times that I've killed him he's just dropped the shield, no 1-hander yet.

when a wizard can hit a 80k hp mob for 30k in 2.5seconds it falls very quickly.

any bored wizard wanna try, heres how ya do it. prep. spell shield (for dd fd) rune epic click prolonged destruction, then hot potion demensionaly instabiltiy. and pull it with ec ad ec ff chain

took me 10second and he did like 3k total damage to me. sad really

Just duo'ed him with a 78 Ranger and 66 Cleric. Careful when he gets low and have group heals handy.

Have solo'd him on many occassions. Very easy fight now.

ok i just tryed him solo as a 75/500 cleric...not a chance was hitting me for around 1.5k and +3k nuke.....he stunned me off the bat and kicked my @ss fast...i wouldnt reccomend anyone try him solo as a cleric =P. happy hunting!

I (69 WAR, 11.6k/1918) tanked SH last night with a group of 6 (2 clr, mnk, rng, rog) + out of group SHM for slow and HoT. I think some other folks from around the zone may have added in abit of DPS, but it was not extremely noticeable. I believe only 1 clr was healing...other may have stayed FD...not sure.

I pulled with Furious and tanked with Stonewall, although it made staying in Melee Range a bit difficult because of push. I do not recall dropping below 60% for the duration of the fight.

Monk died...I think he ate rage, but not sure.

Glad to know I can finally tank him...he has killed me more times than I care to remember...it is my turn to return the favor now.

Solo by 75 cleric

Definately Soloable aye.

75 Pal with Ward of Tunare and Burst of Sunlight being musts.

I had a lil help from a passer by or 2 DPS wise, but I was stood in the middle of zone so my group didn't get AEd (but they still did doh) and picking up lots of adds.

Long story short, I kept myself alive and beat him up, my group had loot rights so I obviously did the lion share of the dps. I got killed by the adds after i killed him, but I stared that beasty in the face and etched my name with nightbane all up ins his hizzouse.

Another Victory for AC whorage!

This lil sh*t gave us a world of trouble. High end group of 6 on him. FD cast almost immediatly. Stood up after FD did resist disc and he wiped almost nearly after I was out.

Is this guy on a timer or is it random?

Reinstatement 3 or 4 weeks ago we dropped him with 5 people and 2 out of grpers, we had 6 people, but the cleric was Ebayed and kept Chealing causing the death of the tank. we worked quick off a mage pet tough that tanked from 91% to 33% before the mage was summoned and dropped. Next went one of our necro's quickly by stupidly nuking it, summon and pop he's gone. Me Cleric and a 2nd necro remain, when the cleric hits the sit button, standing up from FD at 7%. BYE BYE! Me and necro remain and we pet tank and DPS it, necro get summoned and popped to 35% then i do down to 70%, Blast from necro and this guy's gone.

He hit me an average of 613 to 1035, with most rounds between 613 and 719. Almost all rounds were quads. A few rare swings into 2k-2.5k but very few.

This with maxxed mitigation AAs and 2.4k ac 8% shielding 70pal. 2 group pickup and he was np.

soloed this guy as well kinda of a 1/4 chance to me soloed him 2 times now

Me (61 War) and 66 Druid buddy ported into WoS and invis. Running towards NC when this guy triple taps druid for 6k total. hit me for 2841 with tentacle swipe and regular melee attack i was FD and stayed that way... Druid's corpse laying behind me. <Fudar tells your party: What the F%#K just hit me> LOL. he left i /sit and run like crazy. Made it.. Might have to come back later for that shield.

Is his gflux resisted quite a bit at 350 magic is that how people are getting him down easily in a group? Everytime i tried him about 6 times now he strait up eats group because of this gflux/ 2k dd that seems to almost have a zonewide range LMAO.

Either I didnt have invis up as I though I did or this guy definitly sees through SoS. Strollin back to zone out walked in front of em and boom I was toasted.

If this guy is an add from pull, or gets trained to your camp, hope it uses the ae effect it has, it makes you fd as well as do 2000 hp damage. We had him pop on a pull, and it used the ae on our group. Everyone stayed down, and both mobs walked off. Unless of course you have a group capable of taking him out.

im surprized he doesnt have any runes on his loot list for such a hard mob

The graphic on this shield is that of the Crystal Chitin Shield, or, a blinking transparent oval. I looted this one a mini raid of about 3 groups. We killed him a few times and the Crystal Shield of Remembrance seems to be his most common drop.

single grouped him with all level 65's on 1st day of OOW had pally MT, me (cleric), zerker , enchanter, ranger and rogue. First time was a wipe at like 70% then second try I died when he was at like 10% and pally kept group alive he dropped the shield.

after 23 hours stright play in wos.. I know this. 4 hour spawn time.. beweare you have been warned. large path. does not go near other raid mob near cave camp.
Sees invis, does not always kill, it may FD you and you have a small chance of living.
