Lv 70 Necro ,with Merc and Pet Soloed this punk easily. just figue what will land Taps worked every time, Heat blood line 100% effective , Splurt also Siphon strength worked ,Pyrocruor worked, Once I dotted him I hoped on my Mount keep just OOR of him His spells rarely landed just his stun worked a bit( that was a pain),after My dots got him to 74% I sent pet into attack.then Just keep kiting him, It ook about 5 mins or so to kill him but quite easy.

Just in case you haven't figured it out yet you can add it to the Qey2hh1_2 file. The file will have names in it. It should be easy to figure out which one to put it in but if you still need help figuring this out send me a message. I will try my best to help you.

OK, here was my strategy. I used the 77 pet, Relamar's Shade. Gave him a full set of mage gear; weps, plate, and jewelry. Got him a cleric hp buff and full set of shammy buffs. Went to each zone, used the path that was posted on each one. I went to the closest point, and started a line on my map. Went to the other point and hit end line. Then followed the line till I saw a pally (no tracker needed, but takes a lil longer). When I saw him, I waited till he pathed into my casting range. Started casting my most recent debuff, and sic'd pet in. As pet tanked each mob I dotted them up mostly with poison/disease dots (since thats what our debuff helps). I also used Ashengate Pyre, which landed with a 1/4 resist rate. Pyrocuror also landed well, about 1/2. Also used duration tap, and poison nuke. Since pet tanked for a while, and had puller's agro, the mobs were trying to stun/mana drain it instead of me for about half the fight. My resists are all above 400, I think his spells only landed on me once. Quick fights, once I located them, each pally was dead within 15 min.

I hope this helps.

Also, a Crystallized Pumice may help on pulling to get rid of thier self buffs.

Double boxed at 75 with a 75 mage using 75 (Journeyman) merc healer - no real danger, but not trivial either. Pulled with mala, sent in fully buffed Air pet, chain cast Raging Servant with mini-pets and high DS inbetween. Merc ended with ~40% mana.

Even after debuffing, only necro spell to land was AA snare. In fact, mala was the only "spell" that landed. I tried scent and malosinise after initial mala but after 3 bounces on both, gave up and focused on pet.

If you're kiting him, run backwards (assuming you're running at SoE speed). You'll slowly pull away from him, but you're still in his agro range by the time you have to stop and cast your dot. You'll hit an occasional tree, but you're far enough away to turn and keep going. Once, he stunned me then I immediately hit a tree and he tagged me for 1048 hp. Since he's always in your sight, you know when he's turned and if he goes after your groupmate(s). Easily soloable, but more ppl = more dps = shorter kill time. Took me about 35 min solo with the usual 67 spells. resisted about 1/3 of the time and I was hit with his stun about 1/3 of the time with 299 MR.

The level 68 spell Scent of Midnight lands, and then your poison and disease lines land at least half the time.

I soloed him in maybe 20 minutes or so with fabled jboots, ceramic skull of decay and blood runed battle wand for fast cast speed of dots and lifetaps. With a MR of 273 I got hit by the stun more often than I resisted it. Make sure you hold down the forward arrow key so you are moving asap. He never hit me once melee, and I never got a snare to land.

FPoK landed sometimes as well as BoT and Chaos Plague after Scent of Midnight landed.

Since they stun a heck of a lot, try to find a nice wide open area, like the plowed fields south of where he walks to kite him around, and take very very big circles to path back and forth, you don't want him within casting range until you're stopped and spamming your spells.

The pet probably did much of the damage, sent him in with pally at 85% hp.

Trioed him with 70 nec, 67shm and 51 bard for sow. Malos to pull, necro snared, sicced pet, and both he and I DoT-ed. This guy was a pain, but easier than NK.

I did this pally last night, He walks a straight line back and forth bewteen -690, -4269 and -1011, -7844. So he should be easier to find. I had a 55 Ranger track for me and she brought a 55 Rogue. I kited for at least 40 mins, being the first pally Ive tried. I got it down after 2 deaths.

Use short casting length spells! Splurt cast in like 3sec so I used that Got it to land 2/5 times. I run ahead turn around and keep hitting cast till it starts casting. when I get stunned or spell lands I burn rubber. I could get lifetap dot to land but casting time is longer and I would end up getting hit. If you get hit have your damage sheild loaded. Run way ahead, cast it, retarget mob and run ahead again to start your kite again. I also used soulspike(lifetap nuke) which had a 2.7 cast time. Got it to land 2/5. Once I got him down to like 25% life, I assume he was running out of mana because I was able to land spells like 4/5 times and I wasnt stunned as often. He didnt heal himself at all. One down 3 to go. BTW dont waste time on snare, just have 10 dose SoW potion and watch your timer on it, if it gets low, run way ahead target yourself, click your SoW off and quickly drink potion to recast. You should have another 30 mins of fast feet.

All 4 paladins seem about the same, except Sir Gregon in EK took a little longer to kill. After Malos and Malicious Decay, Shaman landed Malosinia and Insidious Malady after several tries. Slowable (partially) but it's not necessary when you're kiting.

They cast paladin spells:
Ethereal Stun - 1 sec stun
Supernal Retribution - 3 sec stun with 200 mana drain

Also cast Divine Favor (small rune), Flame of Light (small nuke), Touch of Nife (small heal), Lay on Hands (once per fight).

Indifferent con, no faction hits, 30 minute corpse.

Without any debuffs: Got Pyro and ToM to land virtually every time. Reports that Saryn's and Splurt lands. Virtually total resist on Funeral Pyre, epic, Darkness. Druid got Swarming Death, Winged Death, and the occasional druid epic to land.

Casts a stun (resistable) and a small mana drain (3% a hit for me, never resisted it), but can be kited.

I did all the paladins last night we had a 54 druid doing track a 65 necro, 67necro(me), 70mage,67 enchanter, and anouther 65 mage.We killed them all easily! just kite them around after there debuffed we didn't die at all anyway goodluck everyone!

Ok It took me 1 hr to kill this guy. I had a Mage Malo. he resisted Snare at least 40 times ina row. SO i gave up on snare. he resists Disease and poison. I always got fire to land even when not maloed. ANd Liftap and splurt never resisted. I was able to suvvessfully casta spell maybe 1 in 5 times cause he stuns ALOT. again i should say ALOT. Dont recast as was said before. Just run on again. I didnt have blessing of reverence ( my dumb mistake). This cant be done without run5 or sow in you. he hit me once for 1200, and 940 and anothet tiem for 1k and 1200. Mana tapping him didnt help me at all. Thats all i know. GLUck

Shoot double post....well I guess i can add. The mage did alot of the damage with her pet. Had to recast pet 6-7 times. When it crit it got ate up. (had 8k hp). And the mage had to zone alot to get rid of rampage.

This is 1 of 4 paladins you need to kill for the necro 2.0 epic.
He is very resistant. Having someone who can tash or malo will make your life tons easier. He IS snareable does NOT summon. You can guess what that means. Kiteing time!
But wait there is a catch. He casts a single target stun and a single target mana tap (two different spells). He also hits for OVER 1600 a swing and can triple.
He drops Sir Arlindo's Head, needed for the Necromancer Epic 2.0

dont bother snaring him, just do splurt, saryrns kiss and touch of mujaki or upgrades. with a little luck, u can get fire spells to land also, but i wouldnt count on it or do it myself as u will run low on mana without trying. he will stun u often and interrupt ur casting, dont try to recast, just run on, be patient and get some distance before retrying. mebbe manatapping is a good idea, but im not sure.
