I spotted this guy at loc -1873,1355, omw back to pok book from the pit. He is up top, slightly south of n00b ramp. I did not speak with him, figured I would look him up though.
This "short" task is called "Reading is Fundamental" (which doesn't make a lot of sense).
Received from Gibi Bilgum in Butcherblock.
1) Explore the Goblin camp in the south
2) Explore the North side of the library basement(PoK)
3) Speak with Mallagan Vergoo
1p, 4g, 3s, 3c + Experience
To my knowledge, there are no "clues" as to where this NPC is supposed to be (unless I missed something written on the N wall of the library), so its billing as a "short" task might be misleading..., but your mileage might vary. :-)

ya know..his first name looks kinda like magellan...so he must have something to do with the see..and if hes the end of a task called "looking for a new land"..that kinda involves water lol
As a further note to the Pic i sent in (Yay got published) This NPC is the end charater for a Task, cant remember the task though. I think that particular task was just 'looking for new land' type task.
