This guy didn't summon me to him unlike his WoS Brethren. Easy kite for any kiting class.. Didn't notice his "Bazu Grip" being cast at any stage so probably random.

I usually see one in the valley around the packmaster/Pixt camp area. Not sure if these guys are the PH for Stone Thrower or I just have bad luck. Seems every time I kill this guy in that area, Stone Thrower spawns next time around.

Mob info
# Oct 09 2004 at 2:34 AM Rating: Decent
The mobs are big and fairly slow to move around and have a pretty wide melee range so it gets a little tight if you need to kite them. The issue is that they have a spell called Bazu Grip which is a -150MR 3 second root with 400dmg per tick. Most of the mobs in NC in general seem to have a random chance to cast spells, and when you get a caster you get one that chain casts whatever they got in their ******** So if you wanna kite these I'd recomend either root rotting from a far distance, or kite them with at least 350MR, strongly recommended 400MR to resist the root.

As of 08/01/05 (not sure if there was a patch) but these f(*$% things cast a spell called "Bazu Grip". Its a 10 second root. I found this out the hard way. I had on the Veteran abillity that maxes all your stats, so my resists were @ 500 ea, so im assuming it's unresistable. I have been soloing these guys (pet/dot kiting)since i was lvl 60 (necro), got about a blue or more per kill. I think they finally caught on... what a shame, i guess ill have to join a group now.. /shrug. Also noticed they only casted it when they are within a certain range. Currently trying to find a way to keep my distance, but the narrow trenches make it difficult.
Hope this helps all you kiter's out there.
