This mob hits like any other southern named in WoS, 1150 or so max and about 400 average. The four times I've been in a group that has killed it it hasn't cast the mana drain. I am a level 68 SK with about 9.5kHP 1800AC buffed, Combat Stability and Agility 2, Improved Parry 1 and the Class Avoidance/Mitigation AA and can tank the WoS south named mobs without slow (info so you can guage difficulty). The key is a good healer, its best to have your cleric chain cast complete heal and the tank use healing elixers as needed. If your cleric gets in a bad rotation of HoT's and quick heals you may go down if the mob busts out with a few good rounds of triple hits. I was in a good group one night and this mob popped 3 times in half an hour and dropped the ring each time.
If I recall correctly (only fought this guy once) he hits in the 300-400 range. His DoT/Mana drain can be bad if you can't take him down quickly. All in all though, 1 groupable and easy to kill w/ tank, dps, healing backing u up and he doesn't have alot of hit points. And as previously stated, he can be solo'ed.
People say this is sooo easy to get, but where exactly does this guy spawn? In those rooms just to the left of entrance near Nobles causway? Or is he out in the open as you come out of the long cave from NC ?
Yeah, this guy wanders outside the tunnel to NC. Just kill everything that wanders out there (except Shadowhunter unless you're in a really high end grp, hehe) and he will spawn eventually.
This guy casts a Crud that dispells kei, mana drains, and DoT's ya... just killed em, but didnt catch the name of the crud... had the "mudslide" graphic.
Not sure if was separate spells or the same one but either way took us by surprise being the first time any of my group engaged him. One effect was complete mana drain and the other was a dot both being AE. I had RC2 cast it and cleric had RC1, after both dot was still active.
