did this today. Killed 2 of these guys and a blob guy spawned, killed 2 more and 2 blobs guys spawned. (3 total). I would guess the way to do it is too kill 2 dragrons then kill blob, then kill 2 dragrons and then kill 2 blobs, etc. If you kill all the dragrons first you will have a ton of blobs all chained together.

Not sure but, found 6 of these at the top of the spire, hard to pull so we did em in 2's and noticed after the 4th one that 4-8 girplans had spawned, possibly on their deaths as they despawned when Sychophants were all back up.
Possibly ring-type?
