Innoruuk, the god of Hate.

Plane of Time Version

For event information, see this quest entry. Innoruuk drops three items from his loot table.

Plane of Hate Version

Innoruuk spawns in the furthest room to the south. When killed, an Evangelist of Hate spawns. He paths out of the room, then summons Innoruuk in the room to the north.

The air around you is thick with tension and the walls seem to bend inward as the Evangelist continues, 'With the sum of our wicked spite, rage, and animosity... Your children call out to you. Your exalted presence is required, your extraordinary power is desired, and a gaggle of babbling fools is in need of trial by fire. Master, allow us a true demonstration of your might.'

Evangelist of Hate shouts, 'ALL PRAISE INNORUUK, OUR LORD AND CREATOR!'

Evangelist of Hate says, 'Join us, my hateful brethren!'

Innoruuk spawns and says, "I LIVE! Prepare yourselves, mortals. You will bow before the terrible might of the Prince of Hate!"

Evangelist of Hate says, 'Join us, my hateful brethren!'

Evangelist of Hate says, 'I can no longer sit idly by, Innoruuk. These pathetic wretches will die by my hand as well.'

Crypt of Nadox Version

(information needed) After you kill the The Luggald Broodmother and chosen of Innoruuk mobs in the two rooms Innoruuk will spawn in the far room several guards to get to Innoruuk he casts a knock back spell which will aggro any mobs that respawn. He also strips all buffs you have.

Got him down to 5%....and he just wouldn't go down any more. Became invincible basically. Not sure why. Eventually ran out of mana and had to evac because he wouldn't die.

He becomes health-locked because the Evangelist has to die first (and he stops summoning more mobs)...then you can finish off Inny.

I killed him during PoP when he still had the "Presence of the Might I" type debuffs. I expected his 20k death touch to do quite a bit more, but oddly enough it seemed the MotM was being calculated in my favor. His base death touch was only 12.5k and my heroic wisdom mitigated it more (9 heroic WIS took it down to 11375). So, with some patience and making sure I was topped off, I was able to tank him without dying to the death touch. My gear is near BiS as I have 12.75k HP fully buffed, but I thought it might be an interesting tidbit for future adventurers looking for a challenge after classic passes some.

Keep in mind that version of Innoruuk goes away in LDoN, so PoP is the latest era you can attempt the classic version on TLPs.

The spawned version of Innoruuk in PoH is indeed level 70.

[Mon Jul 23 20:10:37 2018] Innoruuk scowls at you, ready to attack -- looks kind of dangerous. (Lvl: 70)

After this Innoruuk is defeated, then the Evangelist of Hate triggers another Innoruuk that is level 75.

[Mon Jul 23 20:17:29 2018] Innoruuk scowls at you, ready to attack -- it appears to be quite formidable. (Lvl: 75)

Both versions dispel and it's best to have a few insta click items.
Inny in 2014

So, I've decided post as this was arguably the hardest of the "old world" bosses to locate and pop, I'm guessing because someone has his spawn pretty much perma-camped and knows when he was last taken out.

I had it in my mind that I was going to take all the old world bosses down solo with a monk and I started at 52 with Vox and Nagafen. Those two required help but all nearly all the rest have been taken down and Inny was one of the more difficult to find. I actually quit playing because he wasn't showing up and no one really had any information as to spawn times or whether he was triggered.

So, I've found he seems to be a three to five day timer +/- 12 hours like most raid bosses and upon logging in and facing the throne room so as not to cause aggro by the local dark elves he was up (FINALLY) and standing right in front of the throne in the small room on the east side of the map.

With my rediculously geared 92 monk with 4500aa I think he depopped in about fifteen seconds after he got completely smashed and left a corpse with no loot. Evangelist of Hate showed up and sauntered in to the room with the balcony. He shouts some nonsense and the "real" Innoruuk shows up on the lower floor and the EoH despawns and (I think) gets about a three to five minute timer. This Inny conned GREEN to a 92 and actually put up a halfway decent fight. All the mobs in the entire building joined the assault against me and I think there were a good twelve to fifteen adds. All were destroyed within about three minutes, Inny was the last of the "old world" raid bosses to die and left a Beacon of Loathing and an Insidious Twisted Cord of course both of which at this point are meaningless garbage. EoH respawned and shouted that he was "going to help Innoruuk" but he had been dead a good couple minutes which was pretty damn funny. I killed him with a finishing blow of about 94,000 damage.

Was fighting plane of hate version of him with my 70 mage today 150aa app4 healer merc. Didn't go so well. Got him to about 50% problem I had was his AE knockback was dropping my pets threat so he would hit me a couple of times doubling my mercs healing. I gated at 50% when merc was OOM. Otherwise Id have prob been ok. I had no trouble landing any spells on him.

I came to PoH to get SK epic prequest piece and after that decided to down Inny with a 85 necro (1.5K aa 38K hp raid buffed & T5 healer merc) and my 2box 80 sk (200aa 24k hp raid buffed & t2 healer merc). I engaged and burnt him down then the evangalist of hate spawned, wandered down stairs and a new tougher Inny spawned. Anyways spells werent landing so i thought i was doomed and i got him to 60% and tried landing spells again and it worked. So im not sure if u can cast at a certain % but im pretty confident caue after my spells started landing only 1/20 was resisted.

I killed him successfully for the first time today. If I had been there for loot I would have been disappointed! He dropped three Anathema and a Compendium of Classic Torture. :(

Solo'ed this guy tonight the Old School way with no merc, just me and sword pet. 85 Ench 36k HP/ 37k Mana/ 3200 AC unbuffed. He was up so thought I would try him without a merc healer. Very easy, I ignored his adds and went full burn on him with MR aura and MM proc stick. Took maybe 15 mins. The "Bloody Vampire" for the Halloween quest joined in mid-fight w/ his 10 bat adds as well and I was surprised to see that they all were mezzable. Had to use 9 heal potions and several clickie casts to save what buffs I had left. Ended fight w/ 60 mana and I never dropped below 70ish health.

Soloed last night with 85 cleric. 4400AC/33KHP, MMM gear mainly. Killed both of them. Wasn't hard at all, hardest part was keeping clickies up to avoid him dispelling my VoV/Ward.

25 minute fight. ~850K HP on Inny(very magic resistant even after tash proc). 748 was max hit.

I need the eye of Inny for my necro so I went to Hate to clear Minis. The Big Guy was up so I went at him with my Merc and tried to take him down. It was a hell of a fight and I won.

I ignored his adds and just DPSed him down then cleaned up the adds after he was dead. I kept all agro and merc just healed me as needed. I was out of endurance and merc was out of mana at the end so it was a tight fight.

Was fun. :)

BATS!!!
# Sep 15 2008 at 8:26 PM Rating: Decent
Ok, so we were tryin to 1 group inny tonight. warrior, sk, and some shammys... We were fighting inny in the room between Fake Inny, and where real inny spawns... Fight took quite a long time, as we had no DPS, but, at 8%, a boatload of bats came out of no where and wiped all our casters that were in the doorway to fake inny's room, but didn't touch the SK or the warrior...

Anyone else ever come across this? and anyone know why this might happen?

thanks for any info (and inny will die to us soon, just gotta figure out those damn bats)

The swarm of bats comes with the vampire that roams in PoH... Bad timing, he (they) were passing there at that moment...

I was in tier 1, and noticed an emote, which I suspected was from Inny (Sorry, I didn't write it down.) I did /who, and there were two new players in the zone. Shortly after that, LB Innny dissappeared from track, and a Dark Blue Inny appeared on track. Sometime around that time, a second identical emote appeared. I did another /who, and one of the previous two players was gone from zone, another was *(RIP) Playernamehere Corpse(), (or whatever a dead hovering player is listed as), and DB Inny was still up. After ? twenty minutes, DB Inny was gone from track. When I got back from raids three or four hours later, LB Inny was back. I would interpret this to mean that Inny despawns on a wipe, but respawns after a number of hours similar to other mobs in EQ.
Inny Kill
# Jun 09 2008 at 2:33 PM Rating: Decent
I 2boxed him today with a warrior/cleric and it was a pretty long fight. I tried killing off the adds first (and there are a lot of them) but after killing a few of them I realized that they just respawned after a little while. I would just get all of the adds tanked and focus all your dps on Inny.

I took the aoe on both toons for a while, but I eventually found that I could put Inny and his army of adds in one of the corners in the pit close to the Evangelist of Hate and keep my cleric up top (where the Evangelist is) without getting hit with the dispell/knockback aoe. The evangelist sits there until about 40% (I didnt really pay attention to when he became active but it could of been in the 20-50% range) and then he joins in on the fight. He has a lot of hp so just get enough aggro on him to tank him and then focus your dps back on Inny to finish him off.

Was fun to just randomly come to this zone and kill Maestro and Inny since its so easy to get here now.

30% is when the Evangelist goes postal.

Failed attempt with my 80 pal and a 64 ranger with merc-cleric but it was a good attempt. Just ran out of mana at the end (that dispell/knockback is a pita and the fake version is even worse with the dispells).
thought i might take him
# Jun 01 2008 at 7:01 AM Rating: Decent
So i saw Innie was up and decided why not- he is only yellow..thought i was doing pretty good with 2 lvl 67's to take him down. Didnt realize the first one is a fake until we got both our butts handed to us. I should read up on mobs before trying to take them on lol.
2nd Inny a Beast
# May 22 2008 at 10:24 AM Rating: Decent
Took 3 groups (16 peeps total) w/ only 1 clr healer but plenty of dps, off-tanks for adds.. etc. 1st Inny was a breeze and we kept most of our forces on the 2 seperate landings at top of stairs and some casters down around entrance and along the wall of bottem spawn floor, and the MA Tank right at the first stairs to pull him up. The plan was to back him in the corner directly in front of the top-most stair, which indeed everything went as planned. We had a decked out shammy with nearly 20k hps/3kac take most of the adds in the corner on the other side to the entr of the throne room and during the course of battle (about 5min in) he ran into trouble so I jumped off Inny to take some of the load), used weaponshield disc at first then helped for a bit but I think I was one of the first to die.

Eventually those adds had no place to go but to the closest aggro, in our case was our cleric on horseback at the time.. Cleric ended up wiped and eventually the whole 3 groups wiped. Tank was last to go and reported had Inny down to 36 percent. Everyone in group was at least lvl 65, lvl average was 72 I think.

Gonna try again soon, hoping for better chance in SEoC (my rng 1.0) drop off him than the names I've camped for a couple weeks. We'll be sure to come better prepared with at least 3 healers next time.

Well, hope this helps a little. Oh and he is a lvl 75 spawn comfirmed.

Droped him with 6.

75 Cleric
75 War
75 Shm
75 Rng
75 Ber
75 Wiz

Tons of adds, dont bother killing them, kill inny first.

Cleric just put back in corner, kept MT up with Promised Renewal Rk II. and spam as needed.
Make sure everyone is on inny. Cleric, if he is strong enough, puts up ward of rep. and it will be flawless victory. Inny dies, kill adds, your gtg.

He hit me in the 200-300 range average. looks weak.. But with 6 or 7 add hitting me together its alot.. i guess if i could single him out i could solo him again..

My guild tried him the other day in our PoHate raid. Fake Innoruuk went down fairly easily, the fling\DD effect was kinda fun.

Real Inny popped and wiped 12 people in SECONDS. Quads for up to 853, has huge amount of HP. Adds were a big problem as well.

Advice: Clear every mob in sight of Innoruuk before pulling the fake. There is only about 1 minute of downtime between the fakes death and the real ones spawn. You will want this time for healing and buffing and medding, not clearing potential adds.
