There's a lot of information here that is wrong or confusing.

Maestro cannot be slowed. You get the immune to attack speed changes message if you try.

At the start, three of the banshees will spawn in the open area before the organ but not will not move.

At 75%, two accompanists spawn on the piano. They appear to be rooted. I had trouble slowing them but they're not immune. I only tried magic slow.

If you back your group/raid into the back corner by the organ, you can avoid the banshees from ever aggroing you. I chose the corner to the right as you enter his room. Tank was in line with the bench and everyone was packed in the corner. It can be tricky to position Maestro without him getting on the organ so you may have to run back and forth a bit until you get it right.

If you fail to properly position yourself, the banshees will aggro. Since they can be avoided, they should be. The one that procs the mana drain is pretty devastating if you're not killing fast. The charm banshee was resisted every single time with 400-500 MR on my characters. The banshees each have about 50-60k hitpoints and can be slowed if you decide to take them on. Max hit was mid 600s.

Moaning banshee casts Thought Vortex (mana drain) A LOT, every 8-10 seconds. High priority first kill.
Screeching banshee casts Scorn's Beckon (charm). Easily resisted.
Wailing banshee didn't seem to cast spells.

Ultimately, my group damaged him for 600k, but a lot of that was from regenerating at 75% health when the accompanists come out.

Tank had 12.3k HP, level 65, 22 HSta, 18 HAgi, 950ish AC. Max hit was 1207, with 1324 hits in 742 seconds, and an average hit of 493. I took 354K total damage. I had 500 MR but his lifetap still hit for 687 on average.

I managed to do this in era (Hate 2.0 comes in LDoN) with one group consisting of Paladin, Cleric, Druid, Bard, Monk, and Shaman.

I can't find the item/a screen capture of Basoon Haste Gauntlets, a nerfed drop from Maestro. Anyone have an old screenshot or database info on the thing?

I have my 79 ranger in Hate to get the SEoC and seen this guy on track. He was DB to me so I thought I would give it a try not knowing anything about this mob. I got him to 75% and he started healing after fighting for 5 mins and his life not going down I tabbed out in the middle of the fight and looked here.

THANK YOU for the post about the hands.

So make sure once you get this guy to 75% kill the hands don't waste time trying to kill him with the hands up you will be there for hours

Went up with my 85 Necro and a friends 76 Shaman.

The Maesro's room had the undead ladies in it. I don't know the name of the one in particular but we killed it and it spawned another, again and again. Maybe 5 times? I was afraid we'd have to leave after we ran out of mana. IT was close but we did ok.

The Maestro beat us down and we had to leave.

2nd try with just the Necro.
No ladies at all in his room on the 2nd try a day or so later. Run in and Attack!

I killed the hands as soon as they popped. I noticed here on Allah they were healers. Pet tanked the Maestro.
Maestro seemed resistant to most spells but a couple of fire spells landed most of the time so I used those two and let pet tank and Merc heal.

Merc ran out of mana but regen'd very nicely while pet tanked so the heals were always there. I sat and dotted when I could. No problems.

70 cleric and 71 paly both w 400+ aa's took him down. just rush him and fight near organ..the banshees wont aggro. when hands spawn switch to the hands till their dead. then back to him. it helped that paly was maxed for her level in undead crits. we tried with a merc to speed it up the kill, but as soon as he hit 40% the merc ran and agroed the banshees..it got ugly. so we scrapped the merc. just took a bit longer.

I did this when i was lvl 65 with less then 2 grps. The trick is to back him into the corner on the opposite side of the room he spawns on and at 75% he spawns hands on the organ make sure u have someone who can kill them because they heal the Maestro and we were beating on him a long time before we figured it out. You will see other banshees in the room but don't mind them. At 40% the banshees he actually spawns appear you can either kill them or mez them but we found as long as no one agroed them they didn't attack n we were able to kill them after the Maestro. Hope this info helps n gl :)

Sign of the times in a ever changing game but I soloed him with 85 tank and merc.

Killed the hands then him then banshees.

Took a while but not a hard fight at all ;(

Merc had almost full mana all the time and I never dropped below 75%.

Hands healed him at around 80% which is why I then switched and killed them first.

Takin down with an 85 mage and healer merc...Maestro was rather resistant to my spells, including AA Malo and normal cast...I'd say he resisted probably 60% of my fire nukes (all i bothered using)and then they did hit, most of them were partially resisted (crits in the 2ks rather than the 14ks)...Pet tanked the entire fight of course, when hands spawned, had pet kill those then back on Rancor, when zombies came into play, just let them beat on pet till Maestro was dead. Anywho, fight was easy, took 10 mins to down him and all the adds.

Boxxed with 79 Monk and 80 Bst. Monk had about 23khp buffed and Bst had 26.5khp buffed

Tanked with monk, At 75% the hands spawned, killed them with the Beastlord, fought maestro down to 40% at which time the 3 banshees spawned, just let them attack the monk and beastlord while continueing to focus both chars on maestro. Maestro died, killed 3 banshees, fight over.

No other mob was up besides Rancor, that drops the SEoC. I was scouting with my 80 paladin. 395 AA's. So, my pally friend tagged along for the pre quest 1.5. We looked on EQ alla and noticed it was hard, (dark blue to lvl 80,) So he logged his Shammy(80) and box cleric (76). i was 18k/3k buffed, at the time. When Rancor got down to 75%, i believe you have to kill the add's first, not for sure, but, it's a good thing, i popped Armor of Decorum rk2. Anyway, it healed itself back to 100%, as you know. When the banshee's spawned, cleric was OOM. And I had already used Holyforge Disc. And LoH was down. I crit for 11k-. He resists Burial Rites rk2 and spurn undead. He was slowed, but DID NOT hit over 1k, possibly not over 800. I used my potions where it refills all HP, too, and mana. The banshee's apparently mana draw. Anyway, we finished with 30m on pally, and oom on shammy and cleric. This mob is hard, and DID NOT drop SEoC. But it doesn't consist a raid, if it does, it's called the shammy, pally, cleric riad :D

80 ShadowKnight, 80 Shaman. Long fight, but easy. We barely went below 50% mana. We fought the Maestro, killed the two hands that popped, went back to killing Maestro. Lasted about 20 minutes.

We are FC raid geared. Tank was unbuffed, at 18k hps, and 2.0'ed.

The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you have someone that can get the adds killed ASAP. Those hands do heal the Maestro.

75pal (1150aa), 75 clrbot (350aa), 72 zerkbot (170aa). Fun fight. Prolly duo-able with cler/paladin. Will come back and try it later.

Most rounds = 186-200s. Max hit that I saw = 800s. Nothing vs modern group content.. adds make the event a little interesting. Zombies were stunnable, and all adds lt blue to 75. Maestro and hands seemed immune to slow.

Dropped Pal alt quest loot piece, as well as the robe and caster pants. (and Marsinger melee quest drop). Whole fight prolly took ~ 15-20min.

What is the spawn time for this guy? Thanks!
#REDACTED, Posted: Feb 10 2007 at 8:50 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) FYI He's still fairly tough. I tried to solo him, but couldn't do it. Wasn't fully raid buffed though. Here's my magello for reference.

This fight seems to be pretty easy if you bring lots of melee dps. Group consited of a paladin, cleric, mage, wizard, ranger, and rogue, all level 75. Paladin was raid buffed to 19.5k hp, 3.6k ac. The paladin never really needed much healing except for an occasion HoT.

Tanked him down from the stage. At around 80% or so 3 non-targettable wanderers slowly walked in, all with the same name. The stared at us for a while until the Maestro went down to 50% or so, then they became active. Pally offtanked all 3 adds while dps killed 2 of them leaving the wailing banshee up. At this point Maestro became extremely resistant to magic and fire nukes (mage rains seem to hit) so it was tough to dps him down. Ranger rooted but everytime the ranger had to kite, the Maestro would regen so we finally had the cleric kiting and the ranger dpsing.

Killed him tonight with pally 74, bst 75, mage 75, rogue 75, cleric 72 and baby druid 68 . He is undead so be sure to have undead spells up. Pally tanked Maestro down on main floor away from organ. Mage and bst handled hands and banshees, kill 2 leave one etc. Rogue assisted pally, cleric and druid chain healed pally. This is a long fight and in our case all of us ran our mana very low before it was over.

Glad to have it finished, I camped him for three days. Again he is undead. Good luck to all.

Done with 4
# Nov 20 2006 at 8:02 AM Rating: Decent
Did him with 4 today. 75 Cleric, 75 SK, 73 RNG, and myself a 75 SHM. All were Anguish, Demi geared except the Ranger. Fairly easy fight. Key is to kill the hand spawns on the organ as soon as they pop. They keep the Maestro healed. Banshee's came active at 49% killed 2 of the 3 and had ranger kite last one til Maestro was killed. Dropped the Robe, 1H blunt (Tarantulle) and the Pally epic piece. Killed him just to do it, was after the SEoC for my Ranger!!!

****Note****
He IS slowable, but a pain to slow, even after to cast a Malis on him, it took a while, kept getting the "Immune to change speed" /em
