Soloed him today with my lvl 50 necro. Was even coned to me so he must be level 50. Little twinked - Had 3k hp and 3k mana. Chain lifetapped him and was at 30m at end.

Solo'ed the child with my 61 necromancer, it's undead and can be slowed.

max hit 122 - roughly 8k HPs, its undead and kos to everyone (i have good OT faction, it was ready to attack tho) - no faction hits.
The Child spawns just to the north of Ixpacan, on the top edge of the hill (north side) which surrounds Ixpacan. Didn't con the mob when it spawned, but it did not immediately aggro on me. Resisted about 14 casts thrown at it ranging from darkness to fear, poison, disease, fire, immobilize (ie root). Never got around to trying the undead spells. Finally go Lifetap to land, and found out that lifetap will land every time.
Was oom by then and the Child chewed up my pets and I went FD. The Child will corpse camp, including when you FD. I guess it's got nothing better to do... The Child did not despawn, and in fact was up for at least 20 min while a guildie came over to help kite the mob.
The sporpikis (sp) do roam over to Ixpacan's area, but were so green that they didn't aggro.
