Anyone think a 75 ranger could beat him

conned blue to a 70 when I saw him... perhaps he rangers in level from 65-70 but he wasn't when I was by there earlier
I tagged along last night watching a raiding guild work on converting their keys. They cleared the 5 guard-wyverns around Enrid and all had a chat with him. After they moved on, I had a the chat for myself:
You say, 'Hail, Enrid Ebonclaw'
Enrid Ebonclaw says 'Thank you for coming to my aid, though I'm sure I could have made it alive. I'm smarter than most would admit. I even committed a crime against my master by questioning one of his motives and the punishment for that is death. Yet, here I stand! Those wyverns have kept me asleep and were trying to turn me to ash. Since you are here, I will finish what I started. I have a secret so magnificent and so powerful that the Ring of Scale will be extremely angry with me. I will exact my revenge! Now, would you [like to know] how to overcome the wards on the passage to Veeshan's Peak? '
You say, 'like to know'
Enrid Ebonclaw says 'You adventurers are all alike. The dragons erected a new ward on the door to only allow the Ring of Scale and its followers entry. They changed it because of greedy adventurers like you! As a servant to the Ring of Scale, I learned how to create a cipher to enter the peak -- one that overcomes the new ward that was erected. This cipher requires the original key or the essence of the original key. The original key was very magical and powerful, for it encompassed the strength of this continent. If you have the original key, you will need to modify it by combining it with this powerless cipher and the blood of a brood dragon. If you do not have the original key, however, you will need to capture the strength of this continent, the essence of the original key. [continue]'

Enrid Ebonclaw says 'Combine the three major essences with that same dragon blood inside the powerless cipher to create the Cipher of Veeshan, your means of entering the peak. Also, you may have the original key's essence bound to your soul, so let me know if you would like me to [recreate the key].'
(at this point, I think, I was given the container)
You say, 'recreate the key'
Enrid Ebonclaw searches deeply into your soul and says, 'I am sorry mortal, I cannot recreate the key at this time.'
(I don't have the original key. no surprise that he wouldn't give me one)
The raiders proceeded to visit Dry Sapara, the new dragon in the entry to VP, and did something to trigger the spawn of Suled Dar`s Shade. He spawned on the north side of the huge lava pit in the middle of the zone. They dispatched him and spawned a row of chest/corpses, all of which had 8 minute timers. Each chest appeared to have only a certain number of pieces in it, since they despawned once they were emptied. I did not ninja their raid to try to see what was in them.

Do you, or anyone know if you have to kill all five guards to let him give you the key? I tried killing just 2 of the guards with 3 people, and even though I have the old key in my keyring, he said the line about "searches deeply in your soul". Is this a bug or do you have to kill all the guards?
EDIT: I figured out the reason why it didn't work. You don't need to kill any of those wyverns to make this work either. A friend of mine aided me and we killed them all. He got the new key but I didn't. We both had our keys in the keyring, then I realized I kept my old Veeshan Peak key in my bank as a sentimental valuable. Make sure before you ask Enrid Ebonclaw to recreate your key that if it is in your keyring that you do not have the old key physically existing in your bank. When I did it the second time, I destroyed the old key, used Divine Aura, said "recreate the key" and I got it.

EDIT: I figured out the reason why it didn't work. You don't need to kill any of those wyverns to make this work either. A friend of mine aided me and we killed them all. He got the new key but I didn't. We both had our keys in the keyring, then I realized I kept my old Veeshan Peak key in my bank as a sentimental valuable. Make sure before you ask Enrid Ebonclaw to recreate your key that if it is in your keyring that you do not have the old key physically existing in your bank. When I did it the second time, I destroyed the old key, used Divine Aura, said "recreate the key" and I got it.
