Appeared in Plane of Knowledge as part of GM event on multiple servers. Asked riddles and rewarded correct answers with random gems. Also seen in Butcherblock Mountains and Lavastorm Mountains.

Hehe, once found him shouting things in PoK, so i went to check it out. Even won some Fire Emeralds by solving riddles, it was fun :D

just had my first encounter with this guy less then 5 minutes ago in lavastorm next to the Najena zone...no idea what it was so i didnt con it but it talked to itself and that was odd...now i wish i had hailed and tried to get free gems

A Riddlemaster (male halfling model) appeared in PoK on Antonius Bayle just now - and a fun 20 minute session ensued with around 10 players joining in the fun.
Correct answers to the riddles (which included a few from Tipt) rewarded two fire opals in the first case and two black sapphires for the others. Some of them were pretty fiendish, but if you've been through a Tipt run you'll know exactly what to expect!

He still appears on server regularly, usually in PoK and is played by a Guide, not a GM.... questions are usually standardized but Guides can allow their own riddles into the mix. Still standardized. Comes in male and/or female. If you get the same person playing one twice, you should be able to sweep the board with the gems. Gems aren't exactly rendom, the Guide is given a set amount of Gems and types of Gems

when i first started on povar, i was at the pool in front of bank entrance and she was asking riddles for about and hour with gem rewards. the harder the riddle the higher valued the gem reward. made my first 500pp on that server winning the gems

Yes - this was part of an event run by a GUIDE or GM. He indicated that he would be back in the future.
I have seen him on at least two occasions, on Zek, and before that on Vallon Zek.
