Dragoon DirkI got my butt kicked by this guy on my 43 ranger whiel pwrlvling/helping a guildy and he hist for up to 99 lol (usually always) and he is unsnareable so i ran around with autofire btu eventually zoned when i went through 3 stacks of arrows adn said it wasnt worth it lol.... btu ebing overly persistent I got a guildy adn we took it down. Simply put: he is a nasty guy to mess with.
He conned lb to me.

Dvinn is back, along with all the other fabled mobs, for the 6th anniversary. I had my 53 beastlord over in the CB castle, waiting for the fabled emperor to spawn so a low level friend of mine could loot the 1hb weapon. Naturally, I figured that I could sneeze on pretty much anything in Crushbone and watch it turn to dust. This was quite true, until Dvinn popped. He conned green, and I started beating on him without a care as usual. I had no slows or DoTs or weaken spells loaded up and I wasn't completely buffed. Imagine my suprise when Dvinn manages to get me down below 70% health! Mobs in CB aren't supposed to do that! Fighting Dvinn felt about like fighting a hill giant in Rathe. They expect a group of lowbies to be able to take this guy on? Anyway, in disbelief, I back away to heal myself and let the pet finish him off. After this first encounter, I actually decided to memorize a slow spell. Took him down two more times in the hour we waited for the fabled emperor to spawn, which he never did while I was there.

In april sometime, I was in a group. I was probably not even 11 at the time. my friend and i were running past the castle when he says to go up into the tower and loot his dirk and run like theres no tomorrow. i wasn't sure what was going on, and this is the first time i heard of a dirk. so i go up there...and i see him...laying on the ground, dirk in hand...I immediatly looted it and like he told me; run. I ran all the way to the zone line. to this day i have that same Fabled Dragoon Dirk, and I ain't letting it go, I don't care if it's only for lowbies or not-that's what the range slot is for. which holds my Tealosian morphmetic staff (GoD ingame /claime type of deal)

A few friends and I were camping outside the tower and Ambassador Dvinn popped out of no where and killed all the us. He's very strong and catches low levels off guard. Good thing he doesnt show up anymore...

How do you get Dvinn to show up? Do you have to kill something first?
The "Fabled" versions were part of EQ's 5th-year anniversary event, which lasted about two weeks across most servers. They took the place of the normal versions, but no longer regularly spawn.

Since when is he level 50??? He con'd green to my level 49 cleric, and he has approx. 2500 hp. He hits for around 100. I know he's not level 50. He is around level 30.
