Fabled Treant StaffWasn't even trying for him, I was trying to spawn Quillmane to get the cloak for a friend. I was running around the zone killing all animals I saw. I ignored all aviak, centaur, and the gnolls originally from Splitpaw. I also never killed a single treant, unless someone else did when I went AFK. I did kill the odd things like the cyclops, undead cyclops, and the gnolls that were always in South Karana. Grizzleknot seemed to spawn in the northern part of the zone, or at least thats where he was when I found him.
It's funny, I was trying for this guy for my warrior when the fabled started back up again. I gave up after spending lots of time trying, and ended up getting the Herbalist's Spade from Chardok. Now I get the Fabled, go figure.

He roams, but occasionally stops and stands still. I tracked him right in the middle of the eastern zoneborder (-2242, 3241)

Careful this one has the same faction hits as the non fabled version
I found him just southeast of the centaur village at /loc -1075, -3487, 1, near the very eastern edge of the zone. He dropped the fabled treant staff, cloak of leaves, and grizzleknot bark. He was stationary when I first saw him but started to move north towards the centaur village as i approached so I'm not postitive he this is the /loc he spawned at or was just taking a break at the time. Hope this helps anyone looking for him.

HE SPAWNED BY CENTUAR vILLAGE AND HEADED TOWARD HERMIT WHERE HE WAS KILLED, I GOT TO LOOT THE FABLED STAFF.... WILL BE USEING IT FOR SOME TIME NOW.

You know if you actually told us WHERE you saw him or what you were killing WHEN you saw him WE (the people hunting him) might ACTUALLY be able to spot him and KILL him

none of you post relevant information on actually catching and looting this guy. that is the object. /loc's? ph? spawn time? please post something that is helpful. you're just using jibberish.

Saw him tody in SK, conned red to a lvl 34 bst so left him alone, wnder if he drops something different now?

I have spent some 10 hours in SK in one day.
I saw fabled quil 3 times and one normal quill.
I have killed all roaming treants when I find them and still no grizzle. I have a tracker in tow all this time.

The patch changed their levels to correspond with their difficulty, chief. Read the patch messages next time. The entry was made before the patch, when the fabled mobs were the same level (techinically) of the original mobs.
