Haha, here is a story.
I was doing the Staff of Endless Adventure quest, and I was going into SolA to get collector's gnoll skin, or something like that. I fell in the lava by accident and was swimming around, trying to find a way out. Accidentally i zoned into SolB, and so did my companion (coming to save me, he was a level 65 wizard). While he had been zoning in, I was zoning back into SolA, so when he told me he was in SolB, I went back. When I had finished zoning, he was dead. I thought it was because of the lava (45 damage per tick). I saw a rock that I could land on when I fell off of the lavafall. I landed on it, but a half a second later I was dead. All I saw was The Fabled Solusek Kobold King hits you for 1045 (twice) We both were dead, and had to get a necro to summon our corpses. (But I did finish the Staff quest :))

Do not even go in with a group of 42 - you'll get yer clock cleaned.
He pulls from the room to the left of the Hidden room (Priest room). Best bet is to CAREFULLY clear the Priest room first. Then Pacify the Shaman. Have your tank then pull the King down to the waiting room and start fight there.
DO NOT push the Fabled King into the Priest Room or you will aggro all sorts of Kobolds - where they come from is anyone's guess. I have no clue. All I know is even at 60+ and two clerics - if you get hit your heals get interrupted enough your tank will drop when the F-King rampaged. Then guess what? WIPE. No fun.
Battle is a blast hehe.

the line is short. I was first in line after the patch and it was worth an hour. It popped within 30 mins and it took maybe 30 minutes more before we had enough people to kill it. I'd say it was worth an hour of my time....I sat around to see how long till the next one dropped....it wasn't that long.
As for it's Con, it's red, but it's still the same mob. From what I understand, they just wanted to prevent assasinate and head shots from killing it instantly.

Say it with me now, Not Worth it, sure the fabled bracer is nice, but getting it from a mob that hits for 1500? not worth it at all, thats not the worst part though, the little suckers runs like a bard, if your tank is dead, then almost everyone else that had aggro is too. i ran and made it about 5 feet.
Conning red at 65 now, so 68+. Assume thats part of the tweaking done with the Mar 23, 2004 patch.
