Ok so my 62 rogue and my wife's 62 shammy thought we could take this guy. His initial hit on her was 13K+!!! Needless to say that wiped her out. I held my own, with my healer merc, for about 5 minutes. And that was with the two guards by his side and his pet.
Oh well, you live and you learn. I'm thinking we may have taken him if it wasn't for that initial kill shot on the shammy.

our non uber group; 3 level 70 magicians, one 70 beastlord, one 70 shaman and one 65 cleric, owned the fabled king tranix.
This guy is WAY too hard for the fabled item he drops. Two group raid with a few 70s were getting rocked by him with a couple deaths. He's in front of the Warlord and the Magus so if you want to get to them, you need to go through him. Lame.

Solo'd this guy this year with no problem at all, took him and 4 fire giants all on at the same time as a 75 shaman. Pretty funny how 5 levels and 1 year can totally gimp npcs. Most hits were only landing for 250 or so
Its funny but raid numbers and level spread can actually be a big part of the problem too. With more people you have more healing needed, more possible ways of screwing up, more agro etc.
FYI this guy now rampages, dont know if he did last year. But he does now.

Let me tell you something i found the hard way:) This guy is level 70, even to me. First he added on me and harm touched for 1500 points, then quaded for 500 and then ht again for 1100. Didnt tast 20 seconds. long story short, dont try to solo this guy.

fabled con'd red to my 65 warrior and hits hard. wiped acouople times trying to single group him. i didn't get hit for more than 1k with 1550ac but those not in plate armor not so lucky. they said they were taking 1500 a shot so be ready for a nasty fight. straight melee and single pullable. lots of hps.

That level was given BEFORE they fixed the cons of the Fableds. For the first 3 weeks or so the Fableds conned as being the same lvl as the mobs which they replaced. So The Fabled King Tranix originally con'd as being the same lvl as the normal King Tranix. Thus the discrepacy.
