This may be related to the epic 2.0 with oow. But umbiki dropped "3rd piece of the staff" which is similar to the 3rd piece of staff for chanters epic. Not necessarily part of new epices, but it's lore nodrop as well.

so they are spell pages not just the turn in rocks right?
Just the rocks now. The spells have been replaced with the geomancy stones to make the dropping of one less likely to rot due to not having that class in the group.

For us he also dropped level 65 wizard spell: Black Ice (1045dmg 280mana) with stonewall on he hit me for 920 max, has p all hp. was wandering Right from zone 16ft past the first corner.

We took him out two times last night without a charmed pooka.
Group was Beastie, SK, Warrior, Cleric, Shammie and Rogue. All 65. Elemental flagged.
First time we did it, no deaths. second time, I got agro and ate it(beastlord).
He dropped cloak of the sharp eye both times. Oh and spell: Black Ice which rotted..
He is tough but very few hit points. Just need to have your game faces on and you can get him.

Cloak of the Sharp Eye
Dropped last night, Almost rotted, To beat this beast you need to have a Charmed Pooka (POOKA-CIDE!) hasted, dual weilding with a ranger with Weapon Shield or warrior with stonewall having agro, its a 24 second fight, the nameds are farmed alot. I dont see why a group of 65 Pre-EP could farm these nameds, just have pet tanking /shrug Thats what I do and you dont even have to have a cleric just have 3 paladin's chain stun the trash while the RANGER WS's... if pet takes damage 3 pally's heal it up! Good luck all!!!!!

Hits for 1400s and rampages. Has a static PH and 2 wanderer PHs. Spawn area is along the right path just before the room with all the pooka.

dropped Spell : Apathy of the Nihil yesterday for us. Drops as rune, scribe it. 3sec cast, ae mezz lvl 65, lasts 36secs

umm, these are instanced trial zones... can't be more than 6 people in a trial, so he only one groupable
