Respawn time is 72 hours + 0-12 hours
Bristlebane will spawn immediately upon kill.

The message after killing it: Merry laughter echoes throughout the castle and a cheerful voice is heard saying, 'Come on then if you seek the King of Thieves you must choose wisely! Hurry up lads and lasses!"

Anyone got a re-pop time on this guy?
was in PoM earlier when i was trying to get out, i had no idea where to go, so i followed the cleric. The made the mistake of taking us to this guy. we were both Invis so didn't have a worry at the time but found out we couldn't open the doors surrounding him (they must need a key of some kind) anyway after about 5mins of running around like headless chickens checking every door, we decided why not commit suicide and get it over with, so we did. This mob hits for around 1.5k very quickly and cleric was dead in no more than 3 hits, i was not gonna go down without a fight though in total i did about 434 dmg to him, but i recieved the same end as the cleric.. The lesson??? make sure you have a gate potion/spell or someone who nows where to go!

To get out of the jester's room use to left door on the west side. This takes you to Bristlebane's room. As long as jester is up, then this room is safe. From that room click on the center picture of Bristlebane and that takes you to the large square room with a chest in the middle. Be aware that if the named chest is up, it'll see invis and engage.

For everyone wondering yes he does spawn bristlebane. He hits for about 1.5k and VERY quickly as Wuvarien said, no flurries that I saw and I took 4 hits TYVM :P Once you get into that room you can't even gate out, once you lose invis he will attack. Directions to get here- castle--->chess board--->throne--->to the north end of the map (it's a dead end) then click the pic on the wall. Even with someone that knows where to go you need a way to gate, only zone available is to CS which is a tree in outside area on the east side of zone, and that is a long walk to pok :/
Upon the death of the jester, bristlebane the king of thieves immediately spawns.
mischievous jester is even to a lvl 70 :)
does he always respawn a certain time after he is killed, or a certain time after BB is killed?

Can anyone confirm if this guy does infact spawn Bristlebane? And if so, does he use any Effects or is he strait Melee? Thanks.

This guy is a badass ****, anyways, the raid raid i ever went on was in the PoM, and this guy was a target, well out tracks stopped when we met him but it was hella fun

It sucks they got rid of the puppets though. the puppets of Erollisi Mar, Solusek Ro, and The Tribunal were all unique character models... Why'd they have to throw those out?
He does not see invis. I've read about this guy before so I about jumped out of my socks when I clicked over and he was waiting for me. I happened to be invis and conned him as indifferent.

Accidentally ran into this guy while exploring with two groups. He was KOS, red at 65, and eating unsuspecting guildmembers left and right, as we were clicking ourselves into the room one by one like lemmings, expecting just another room with typical PoM mobs. Wroooong.
Teleported into the room with the 65 WAR (max defensive AAs) nearly dead, being hit like so:
(one round per line) and others' misses turned off.
