Any neriad maiden can be a PH for a neriad sea princess.
Can be kited underwater if your swim skill is 200.
They will not leave the water if you go up top (but watch out for summons). They will fight to the death without attempting to run.

since the most recent patch (as of august 2007) spawn rates on Neriad Sea Princesses seems to be down. Way down. it used to be that i would get at least one sea princess per cycle - the five maidens under the castle, the 3 along the tunnel below, and the four mistresses at after the left turn - and often two, or three, spawning. now i'm getting nothing but maidens and mistresses, and the very occasional Weaver.
what was already a tough mask camp just got tougher. or maybe its boringer ?
i guess the upside is i tend to come away with 1k in profits after an hour or two of camping.

I have noticed this as well. I have been camping this mob for over 2 months now and have had no luck with the shawl. Also since the latest patch (8/15/07)there is a missing neriad maiden spawn. The loc of the missing maiden is -400, -355, -175. Its past the 5 static spawns under the castle, as you turn left in the tunnel the spawn right there...the 2nd to last maiden before you reach the mistress'. So one less spawn in an already near impossible camp....could this camp possibly get any worse?
BTW - I have sent a bug report to sony still waiting on an answer.
Update 10-15-07: The specific spawn in question above has been fixed and is now spawning again. It has probably been fixed a while but I haven't been to Siren's much lately.

actually, i finally got my Neriad Shawl tonight, the princess was one of the first neriads under the castle. must've been my 25th princess killed, but it was worth the wait. now i can finally say goodbye to Siren's Grotto. its sad cause i have grown rather fond of that little blue zone..

she drops nothing alot
This mob has any regular Neriad Maiden as a PH. A couple are roamers on a certain path but most are from a static spawn repopping. They can be snared; can be mezzed; can be slowed; can be kited underwater if your swim skill is 200; DOES summon; will not leave the water if you go up top (same as fish but watch out for her summon); is social and will fight to the death without attempting to run.
They are harder than the normal Neriad Maidens because of their summon but can still be kited. I just kept kiting them and when she summoned me I often saw missed swings or low dmg. She will not summon unless you do dmg so if you snare her or slow her she wont start summoning yet. From what I can tell, they have the same drop rate of the netted kelp armors, gems, words and runes, but NOT seashells, as the maiden PH's.
