how can than be 12-55 lvls?

Range greatly in level, depending on your adventure.
In other words. If you go in as a level 20 adventurer your A Confused Mutation will con Green or lvl 12, whereas if you go in at lvl 65 your A Confused Mutation will still con green but needs to be lvl 55 to be useful as a pet fighting by your side.
