One cold storming night 100 adventures in a guild were killing every thing they could get there hands on. As they were in Ro they stumbled across a dungeon and went in. They hadn't seen anything like it ever before. They would all get prepared because they knew what they had to go up against. Well it came to morning no one could find there lost adventures. And a terrible sand storm came in that night and sealed them in to Ro's dungeon. Orcs never sleep or get tired in the own home in time of war. Some times if your on you way to innothule swamp you can hear some of there screams, the legends say. 1385 years later, thus Lost Dungeons Of Norrath

Definatively better than the low-poly 'Orcs', of whom looked more like 16bit green Romans, I learned the game from...cut by cut.

Teudayr they were Uruk-Hai half man half orc... but i do agree, they look alot like the Uruk's except these arent black skinned or fed with manflesh! (if everything thats in LDoN has been down there unknown for so long... how the hell did they survive [not the ghosts, cause come on... theyre ghosts] the Orcs and Vampires should had to have eaten [bitten victims dont count cause they had recently wandered in since LDoN was released... since those entrances didnt exhist till then])

I agree. The first time I saw these guys I thought of the Uruk-Hai.

Secondly, the LoTR film copyright will prevent them being EXACTLY the same, and besides if they started making new orcs black and keeping the old ones green they'd have continuity problems as well. At least they lost that bright yellow chain look! :)

I just think it's about time they updated all of the old-world mobs and stuck these ones in their place. They have the new model orcs and goblins, now they just need to stick in some remodelled kobolds and gnolls and they're done!

[Edit: D'oh, forgot the reason I actually posted!

If you believe they need to eat to live (and remember they're not real now children!), I'd guess they're either cannibalistic or they eat the little evil boar that are rife in the Takish-Hiz dungeons. Mmmmmm, bacon... :P]
