I had a great time camping this on the Sleeper yesterday (10/06/06). After about 10 hours of killing the PH the venemous finally spawned. I pulled it and immediately it gated. I thought this was strange as I had not even damaged it yet, but I knew how to deal with gaters so I ran to it's spawn point and continued the fight. No luck, it kept gating, and continued to gate every few seconds. I got it down to 33% easily but every few seconds it would gate and regain its hp/mana. The gate was not even interruptable as the "begins to cast" and "Gates" messages occurred without a pause between them. I had fought this mob for at least 40 minutes, no exaggeration, before a guildmate druid came and helped. At 18% it ran and stopped gating, and (unfortunately) dropped the ring. I was able to get it to 20% before, but being a shaman burst DPS is not exactly my forte. I think if I try hard enough I may be able to get it to 18% solo but it just doesn't seem worth it anymore for a minor arm upgrade from a bugged mob. Also, the venomous popped again immediately after and dropped another ring.
Ok just past the sleeper tomb turn in guy you turn left, you'll see a safe spot and in front of it thiers a small tomb with some bones in it, just past that you'll see a ramp and 2 spiders gaurding it, the PH is a spider just behind those guys, very easy single pull, the named is pretty much the same as fighting the regulars, if down the wall a ways you see a dragon construct your in the right spot, if your in is aggro range your not.
Extremely low magic Resists, slowable/rootable, didn't resist any of my dots. I just agro kited him around until he died, definatly an easy kill. If you're headed to Zlandicar or the Chetari tunnels, once you pass the first big doors and pass the room with Jaled Dar's Shade, his spawn is on your left. Good luck! :)
