Earring of Living EarthThis guy actually reminded me a bit of Fennin. Like Fennin, placment i think has a lot to do with your victory. And not neccessarilly where you place the mob. Anyway , he is a tuff fight , and the build up to get to him is a task also . His AE can hurt, sucking down mana , and hitting incredibly hard with melee. Should be easy to get a hold of with minimal adds, or none at all. All in all , like many higher end encounters, anything can go wrong , so always be prepared. If things are in your favor, and every one does their part, the encounter seems to jus flow.
Oh yeah , p.s. try to make sure the croc doesnt spawn on ya in between killing the last ring, and heading to MaoE. It can put a damper on your raid.

Posted: Jul 16 2004 at 8:40 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) on my server we have a channal called nighraid were alot of addicted people raid ele plains and most are now time flaged thx to nightraid. well i just got ele flaged and i decided to start raiding with NR. my second raid was this well after the dust ring anways. i was pretty surpirsed to see a giant earth elemental was pretty cool. he seemed to be pretty easy though. he droped the cloak and something else cant reamber.. i would have went in on the cloak but i had no dkp to spend oh well maybe next time !

It's the adds at the end that make this encounter so interesting.
He has an AE called Elemental Judgement
Slow 35%, SpinStun, DoT 500 hp/tick, DoT 350 mana/tick
Full resist with 450 MR

also drops casters ) his AE rocks peeps 700 a tick dot need high MR to resist, and adds around him proc AE -200 debuffs. no adds + high MR = win
