They call me Sorcerer Qren, though the title is hardly fitting. I am only a sorcerer because of my extensive knowledge of my race.'
[Mon Jul 29 18:43:42 2019] You say, 'What extensive knowledge?'
[Mon Jul 29 18:43:43 2019] Sorcerer Qren says, 'Well, I have relatives that were part of the great change that took place in what is now known as the Wakening Lands. I hold a great deal of that lore within me, passed onto me by my ancestral kin. Perhaps you would be interested in hearing about the [creation of the Faerie Dragons]?'
[Mon Jul 29 18:47:41 2019] You say, 'I am interested in hearing about the creation of faerie dragons'
[Mon Jul 29 18:47:42 2019] Sorcerer Qren says, 'Very well, I shall tell you that which has been passed onto me. Long ago, the Wakening Lands was a vast snow-covered mass, where the kin roamed without care. After a time, and what is left to confusion as to why, the god Tunare lent her spirits upon the land to give life to it. Where once stood a block of ice grew a tree. Where once their stood a patch of ice grew into a great forest of trees, as far as the eye could see. The ice melted and there was a great [transformation] into what you now see when you step forth into the lands.'
[Mon Jul 29 18:48:21 2019] You say, 'What transformation?'
[Mon Jul 29 18:48:22 2019] Sorcerer Qren says, 'Not only did Tunare's spirits give breadth and life to the lands that never sleep, they also spread over a variety of the dragon kin that lived in the area. The spirits, when they came in contact with the dragon blood, caused the dragons and drakes within the valley to transform. Our kind was created as a combination of the great dragon blood and a creation of a god from above. When this occurred, we were forever bonded to both the kin, and to the nature around us. For ages, all was well, but then the [giants attacked].'
[Mon Jul 29 18:49:07 2019] You say, 'The giants attacked?'
[Mon Jul 29 18:49:08 2019] Sorcerer Qren says, 'Indeed they did, and a great war ensued. You must understand that up until this point, there were a great many more kin that pervaded the space of the shrine, from mighty dragons, to the drakes and wyverns you see here before you. At the time of the attacks, the giants were pressing forward into the Wakening Lands to encroach on the great shrine. Our kind was the only one left in the lands that never sleep, and we had to choose whether or not we would want to be left here to fight for Tunare, or to [retreat back into the shrine] with our kin.'
[Mon Jul 29 18:49:51 2019] You say, 'Why did you retreat back into the shrine?'
[Mon Jul 29 18:49:51 2019] Sorcerer Qren says, 'Some of us, although newly changed into a mixed breed of dragon and faerie blood, decided that we were more dedicated and believed more strongly in our dragon roots than our faerie roots. It was because of this belief that some of us marched with our brethren into the shrine and helped defend it against the giants. That is why you see some of us here, in the shrine. We have dedicated our lives to defending the shrine and our kin within. That is not to say that those of us who did not come to the shrine are weak, they simply wished to stay in the Wakening Lands to fight off the giant [threat] there.'
[Mon Jul 29 18:50:44 2019] You say, 'What threat?'
[Mon Jul 29 18:50:45 2019] Sorcerer Qren says, 'If you are not yet aware, the giants continually try to accost the shrine and its inhabitants. We are here to aid them in pushing back the giants, hopefully into a state of regression into their own city of Kael. If we can do this, then we have not only proven that we are of direct dragon descent and have the power of the dragons infused within our blood, but also that a creation of Tunare blessed with dragon strength is an awesome creation to behold. And so it is written in the annals of history.'


I do not believe it goes beyond this dialogue nor is there a quest as I tried several additional phrases with no result, but I found the lore interesting.
Also of note, Qren will not respond if you simply click on the [creation of the Faerie Dragons] portion of his dialogue. You have to type out a response similar to mine.
