Confirmed, he does drop the copper medal for Beastlord epic 1.0. I killed thieves and thugs to make courier spawn, had to kill about 10 couriers until item dropped. Good luck!

1) this little bugger can spawn from any spawn point in the camps when the bandits own them.
2) he runs at 19% health and runs at sow speed (I am unsure if he can be snared as BLs do not have Snare)
3) he also can drop the "copper medal of war" but it is a VERY low chance about 5% to 10% chance of it droping
I camped this guy for about 12 hours to get the "copper medal of war" it took me 13 of him to get the CMoW to drop. if your trying to get him to spawn clear the whole camp as he can spawn in place of any MOB in the camps when they are controled by the Bandits.

He's an easy kill for a group of high 30's, low 40's. Note he cannot be snared. You get some message that his movement cannot be altered. When he gets low on HP's, he takes off back towards the bandit camp. With a couple of warriors and a BL pet in tow, he went down quickly. Only now do I see that I need to get my Vah Shir Bard over here to get this item for his quests.
