I just /tried/ to fight one fo the LFay varieties. I say TRY cuz it immediately rooted me and I could not move to run away desptie the fact that it took me down fairly quickly. I am a level 30 Pally.

Last night I used my Druid to track down browies in Greater Faydark. It took me about 5 minutes because they only seem to roam to the west side of Kelethin. Because of their size they are very hard to see so I highly recommend using a Ranger or Druid to track these mobs down. But they do exist in GFay!

I didnt know that there were brownies in Greater Faydark.. I have never seen any! I am just glad that i dont have to fight the level 13+ ones in lesser faydark because thats 1] too much work to get chocolate, and 2] a risk of getting aggroed by millions of the tiny, evil little walking cakes. Im off to go see if i can find any. Report back soon!

i have been owned by the stupid brownies in Lfay, but i have to hunt the easy ones in Gfay. i havn't seen one yet, i've been searching everywhere. i can never ask a noobie ranger in lfay to help me... they just laugh at a high lvl looking for a lvl 3 monster. blah. i'm almost gonna give up lol

I've been looking for these stupid things for two days now, need 1 more brownie torso for some new quest. Had 2 rangers helping me but was only able to find 2! Where are these things normally found and what is their spawn rate!? (A brownie scout)

The quest is the beginning part to a LoY for the Charm of the Brotherhood. There wasn't any websites about it so I didn't now. It's a lvl 50+ quest most likely for evil-alligned races (Most likely DE's, not worth the trouble)

Easy. If you need brownie parts for cooking, these guys are the greatest source of all time. (Well, not really, but you get my point) I mean hey it's better than killing brownies in LFay *lol*

new drop
# May 09 2002 at 11:08 PM Rating: Default
Hi,
I got a brownie brain off one of the low level brownines in Gfay last night. (loc -2034 by 1171) I think it is a new drop as I have killed many of them before and never saw it before. Magic item, tiny, dropable and not stackable. Icon looks like royal jelly that drops off the wasps. Maybe for a new recipe.

Brownie brains are needed for gnome rogue shadowwalker armor and gnome warrior armor, don't know what else, These quests were just added in patch on May 8.

Funny little buggers these things are. My eyes nearly pop out of my head each time I find them, because I desperately need brownie parts! When I'm visiting Gfay, I usually call out for a ranger (that has the time of course) to go Brownie hunting. They make funny sounds, but not as funny as Aviaks, trust me.

My main is an enchanter/ O wanted to see what tracking was like so I made a ranger. After getting to level 3 I was by the lift 2 and a kindly 54 Druid buffed me with everything he had. I preceded to go into the woods northwest of the town where there are no paths. Lo and behold a brownie scout came up on tracking. Once I saw him I tried hailing him for fun. He started nuking me but the magic resist buff prevented any damage. I started pounding on him. A little after his HP was used up he started to run. I was glad I had sow on me because they afre fast. The battle took about 10 minutes (heh I was only a level 3, can't hit for very much), He dropped Brownie Parts which my enchanter greatly appreciated finally getting for her baking skill.

Do NOT kill these guys. Their drops aren't that good, they don't give a lot of XP, and it just isn't worth the faction hit!

Everyone says they never see brownie scouts in GFay. I use to hunt them all the time. They are not near path and are near BBm tunnel. They are lower lvls and you can get brownie body parts off of them.

And no they don't sell cookies, but you can make some good food from them!

ok i too was skeptical when i heard a shout saying "i have rid the world of another infamous brownie scout in gfay!" and i laughed. i still have yet to see one but there are lower ones in Gfay and the kind that kick my wood elf booty around the forest in Lfay. when i see brownies fear and tears come to me. for death is infinate. but in gfay just keep on runnin by with a smile on your face cuz u can kick their butts, so i hear.
Some confusion here
# Aug 28 2001 at 7:05 PM Rating: Decent
Ok i really think there is some confusion here with some people. Please make sure you know what zone you were in before posting. The GREATER fay brownies are lvl 1-5 and the LESSER fay brownies are around lvl 45 as i have heard.the lesser fay brownies are very nasty. Also i wanted to say that i have been trying to find the zone to Gfay and i was follow the paths and i didn't run into any brownies and i was walking around on a bunch of different paths (the whole time i was just waiting to be blasted by a brownie LOL)and i have never seen a brownie in Gfay but just because i can't see it doesn't mean it's not really there *shrug*.Well take care everyone and safe travels.

futhermore brownies are a way undercon. I doubt you will see lvl 3 brownies nukes for 1,200 so please read the whole bestairy and not just skim it.
RE: WTF
# Sep 01 2001 at 12:27 AM Rating: Default
they are refering to the lesser fay brownies and the description above is for greater fay brownies, the brownies in lfay can be all the way into the mid fourties in lvl, that is just about enough to kill most anybody if you agro too many

brownies are nasty and only let by wolf people, so stay away! i was grouping through Lfay and one male one came up and flatted our leader who was 13 ranger. do they have faction cause i want to kill one? but does it matter since they KOS alot of people for no reason? if they do have fac, can it be raised?
