The mutated chrysalis does indeed grow as the timer ticks down, once it reaches its full length, the burrower hatches.

It seems to be a one week respawn, but I'm going to be killing this next week for loot (no cudgel for my baby shaman..ugh)

7 days, geez. Wonder if it's still that long.

This mob is located underwater at the entrance to AC from Grimling forest, bring and EB item, swim below the tunnels and you will find it.

I wish all mobs that did not have PH to spawn, but were time spawned, did this. This is a nice way to see about how long until the mob will spawn again, and not have to bind at zone in and gate back every few hours and franticlly ask friends to drop what they are doing to come help before some one comes and kills your mob. The SOE guy that was in charge of this mob did a great job.

The mob will just go from a mutated chrysalis to an evolved burrower. Once he is in a shiknar form as the evolved burrower, you can then target and kill him, but not if he's in that ugly worm form.

There are no more "stages" or "growth" from between the Mutated Chrysalis and the Evolved Burrower. After 7 days the Mutated Chrysalis (looks like a the old burrower) transforms into the Evolved Burrower (looks like a big shiknar). He is then targetable and about the same difficulty as he was before the revamp (just no more fish in there with him).

This post sounds way off.

Can someone follow up here with the sequence of events that spawns the evolved burrower? Where and what is the first mob of the cycle now after the revamp?

I highly doubt this spawn just changes from the MC to EB after 7 days (is that game time or real time).

Townpillager is totally correct on this, after 7 days, the Mutated Chrysalis will transforn into EB.
The 7 days is real time.

Actually Wurzle it's a 6 day timer with what seems to be a +/- 12hr mod on it. I've killed him well over two dozen times now. He's trackable from zone in as either the Chrysalis or Burrower but easier to have visual confirmation to check on the size of the chrysalis since it does indeed grow during the week from itsy bitsy (like right after you take out burrower) to pretty dang large before he evolves.

Where does this thing spawn? Is it with the shik'nars?

I know this mob has a relation to the Evolved Burrower. He is untargetable, but does anyone know what to do to make the Evolved Burrower spawn? Or do you have to wait the spawn out?
