i am working on my 1.5 epic and i came across this little guy and he conned green to me at lvl 70 so he is not lvl 55 i would have to say lvl 45 or 49 max

They're "pure" because they don't have armor. Shaman, cleric, druids all have armor. They live or die entirely by their use or not use of spells.
"cloth casters" is another word.. "int casters" ... "kick ass casters" is one I like too...
not that clerics don't kick ass, they definately do..
I'm wondering what's involve in solo'ing this guy.. I want to solo farm a bunch of equipment for sale.

Of course you do, however you mixed up "Kick" with "Lick"... I always knew you cloth wearing tree huggers were ghey... *shrug*

Pure casters = wizard, necromancer, enchanter, mage, druid, cleric, shaman.
Hybrids = Shadowknight, Pally, Beastlord, Ranger
Pure melees = Warrior, Monk, Rogue
Then there are bards, not really sure where they go, since they aren't really a hybrid, but they are neither pure caster or melee.
Anyway, main point is, PURE caster does not refer only to intelligence casters, and it isn't a reference to armor type. It is a reference to their status as essentially non-melee characters. Yes, I know that Wis casters can survive a few more hits in melee that an INT caster, but nobody is going to say "we can't find a tank, so grab that cleric"

Actually clerics, shamen & druids have their own classification. Priest class.

Well thankfully the items are lore...Really hate people who go out and camp out of greed. It's how things get nerfed, and the people who complain about the nerf are usually the farmers...Personally, I'd like to see a lot more no drop stuff.
