Waterlogged BritchesHad this guy pop on me last night down by the Shady Merchant. Popped in place of a dead Soaked Crewman. Of course, my Necro had just finished with the last mob and was OOM. Good thing I had my cleric parked there to tank him for a minute till the necro could get a slow off.
He was ripping into my 62 Cleric, and not taking a whole lot of return damage until the slow set in. From there, it was an easy fight.
And now I know to always leave an extra 15-20% mana margin on my necro in case he pops when she is down there all alone.

After killing trolls for 1.5 hours AROUND the docks and in the caves, I finally moved in and killed ON the docks. The second one I killed, the Captain spawned. Maybe Im lucky, maybe not. Slaughtering the trolls on the docks area is probably the better idea.

I was working the docks with friend and he death popped out of a treasure sorters' death.
We were clearing everything from one end of the dock to the other for 2 and a half hours and saw him just this once.
He was holding the long sword and he did not put up much of a fight. He was a bit more resistant to spells but nothing too bad.

Hey, can a 60 pally and a lvl 40 bard solo this guy, cuz I want this sword for my Bard?
They would be if it were a normal spawn but this guy spawns after any undead zombies death so the pally and the bard would have to kill a lot of zombies before he spawns, unless you get lucky of course. Anyways, a Pally and a bard couldn't do these guys because the bard slow will never stick (mobs too high a level to be reliable) and because you'd have to kill 20-60 zombies before one spawns (these seem to be the average numbers for me)

Killed this guy 6 times, 5 times dropped the britches and 1 time dropped the Gem Inlaid Longsword.
I am not sure if you all would have the same results, but based on my experience, the Britches are Common and the Longsword is either Uncommon or basically Rare. 1 out of 10 is normally considered Rare, but since I only have seen it 17% of the time, it's getting mighty close to being only 10% of the time I see it.

oops! didnt tell where he spawned on earlier post. Was in tunnel before u turn right into cavern on the way to hates fury hope that helps. I believe it was rotting seafarer that spawned him.
This guy is a random spawn, and spawns after a kill. Hunt Nadox undead all the time, seen him like 5 times, spawns imediately after a kill, scares me every time hehe...but he is an easy kill.

Does this mob summon? As a soloing 60 druid if it summons or casts it can get tricky. Thanks for the spawning information in the posts btw, looks like I'll give him a shot as long as he don't summon.

I have killed this mob three times as a solo 59 level druid with epic scimitar, not using a bloodtusk beast as a pet. I'll have half mana or so, and still manage to kill him. He does not solo. I have looted the britches twice, longsword once.

myself (58bard) 55 druid 51 monk and 51 shaman killed quite easily monk got the britches. Oh well. We gonna go back and try to get the sword. Would be nice to have this in one hand troubadours mace in other. opens up new twist combos. The stats are nice as well.

This guy is a WIMP with me and my trusty Bloodtust Pet... Soloed him twice...first time got the blade, then the britches today... I love Nadox :)

This mob can spawn after you kill ANY of the undead trolls. I have spawned him from the Weaponsmith, the static Water Torn Crewmen, the wandering undead trolls and the static Worn Torn spirit. He is blue to 58 and enrages at 10%. If he has the Bard sword he will be wielding it.

Took this guy down with a 65 rogue, 58 pally, 60 chanter, and 57 cleric. He dropped the legs. On top of that the mob we killed that spawned him dropped the Coral Ring, so was rather nice. My 62 Necro friend solos this room a lot, just pull into the tunnel, so you can see how hard this mob is not. Nice to know he drops the Bard only sword as well, if the information is correct =)
Necros can solo undead mobs easily because they have all the spells designed to do it (Undead slow, Undead nukes, Undead DoTs, etc).

This mob seems to spawn immediately (and randomly) on the corpse of Waterlogged Trolls in the Troll cave on your way to the Troll docks in Crypt of Nadox.

You might also want to kill "a rotting seafarer" to get that named to spawn where corpse lies.

We killed him a few days ago, and he dropped the sword too. It's visible when he has the sword, btw - looks pretty cool. Like the scimitar in The Grey... kinda...
