Can't Forge Coifs

I'm a lvl 4 Gnome Rogue

First Question...Tanboots or Tanlonika?

2nd...Successfully combined the materials & have the mold--why can't I combine/forge them into the coifs at the Ak'Anon forge? It say's I can't combine those items.

3rd...do I need to have a skill level to forge/smith newbie armor?

Welno Tanboots is in the Abbey of Deep Musing. When you first walk in, go in to the room on the right, then take another right and go through the curtains. (They look solid, but aren't.) You'll find a ramp heading down to a lower level. Go through the door at the bottom and turn left. He's in the room at the end of the hall.
It sure seems kind of sneaky that they would hide the rogue trainer so far from newbie rogues. Welcome to the game, find this person somewhere in this dreadful city, without any real clues. BTW, he's in a room hidden behind a secret door! Good Luck!
