I have been able to take this guy down twice, once solo with a 61 mage, 62 pet, with cleric merc, and the second time I had a 51 warrior with me. Long fight, but quite doable, just had to be sure to fight him closer to his spawn point due to the length of the fight tends to get you caught in the middle of a respawn cycle. Dropped the Ring of the Undead Spiritcharmer and the Shroud of the Undead Spiritcharmer both times.
Just soloed this guy with my 71 shammy and his lvl 67 pet. Shammy had 11K HP/9.7K mana. Pet had best pet armor but no weaps. Fight lasted bout 5 minutes. Just used lvl 70 HoT and Jaguar procs. Shammy did have to let pet tank for a bit as he has no defensive AA's yet, but pet needed maybe 3 heals outside of the HoTs. Even slowed mob seemed to hit fairly fast, and seemed to have a melee proc of some sort. Think it was disease based but never did have it land on pet or I so can't say for sure.
Was roaming thru here for fun remembering the old day *70 Paladin / 70 BST (box) / her 66 warrior pet and seen this guy up. I parked BST along wall just to see how tough he was killing it solo with Paladin. Pulled with my nuke *dbl dmg*, Casted my HoT as he ran @ me, fight lasted maybe 1 minute if that as I remembered someone saying he enraged at 10% but as normal my slay went off before that and fight was over.. GL peeps..
Bodystompper Gigolo - 70 Paladin - Veteran of Povar Bedfriend Nitely - 70 BST *box* / 66 Warrior Pet - Veteran of Povar
Just Duo'd him with my 68 Warrior and 71 Shaman. It's pretty easy. He will spawn if you are on that part of the 1.5 just as it says in the quest notes. Good luck on your epics!
Technically this is considered a raid target. He has the five minute timer when killed.

I solo'd this mob last night as a lvl 71 Druid with 6k HP and 7.5K mana. Granted I charmed an Exhausted Bloodtusk and buffed him up nice with mage pet toys. But between the pig and I, we barely had enough HP to tank him. I used my SoTW and self buffs for a 131 DS while it lasted. Also used my Oaken Guard which took some hits. I didn't have any defensive AA's yet so I was alternating between taking hits myself and letting the Bloodtusk get beat on. By the time fight was over, Pig was at 15% and I was at 20% mana.
Side note: after kill, the rest timer was 5 minutes instead of the 30 seconds. I suppose that's because Nadox is supposed to be a raid mob?

The Loc is neg 443 neg 536 in the alter room, If you are with a Evacer, the Evac spot is closer to the Alter room, can invis all the way to his room, I three boxed it and to be safe I ran past his room just a bit, was able to pull the room singles except for 2 that were near Nadox him self but when pulled Nadox stayed put was even able to pull the 2 Guards behind him single just hugged the wall corrosponding to the particular Guard, When Nadox was last in the room I then pulled him to the same spot. Grats my Shaman
level 70 Paladin soloed him easy for my shammy who stood there like an idiot, no healing required, crit undead so many times i dont think he lasted 45 seconds.
Dropped Cape and Ring, btw he is in the Altar, i had no freakin idea where he was. You can invis all the way too him, i then just cleared out the room pulled him, fully stunable, made it pathetic, but didnt have to stun max hit was like 306 i think.
July 15 doued him win a 70 Bard and a 70 Bst both under 8k hp's. Wife played the bst both used about 2 healing potions and she had no kei for heals so he can be killed with a littel tallent.
As of July 2006, tried to Duo Nadox with 8khp lvl 70 Shammy and 9khp 70 Rogue....he was hitting us max 866....and summoned...I was spamming 2khp+ heal on Rogue and still couldn't keep up. If you go after him, bring a tank to Duo him with....or someone 11khp+ im guessing. Spawns around him were cake but he is no pushover :)
I tried to solo this mob yesterday and had to wimp out FD style. I am a level 68 SK, bazaar geared with 6200hp 1525AC unbuffed. I had Conviction and Cloak of Luclin for buffs, the level 68 pet with Augmentation of Death and was using the level 62? lifetap (one right before touch of innoruk). I got the mob down to 70% in the end, was able to use one healing elixer X and about 80% mana worth of taps and spears. This mob casts a bit but not enough to keep its melee damage down. With a good slow, this mob would be cake but with fast melee rounds with many doubles this mob was too much. I would suggest if you are playing around in this zone solo, and are a melee class, to avoid this guy because it will be a waste of time (unless you are uber geared). A shaman/enchanter plus shadow knight/paladin, decent geared duo should be able to take this one down. This also would be a great target for a die hard group of 50-60 toons. 100 mana on the cloak is great for the level/era of this encounter.
Took him down easy with one group: 66WAR, 66BST, 66SHM, 66CLR and 65DRU. He does have quite a few more HP's than I thought he would, but once he got down to 50%, Cleric was still full mana so I knew it would be over soon for this guy.
Dropped the shroud and the ring for the Shammy 2.0 epic. Yeah me LOL
Maybe its just me... but why would an undead zombie guy like himself need earrings?? I mean cmon???? Hes dead so he shouldnt worry about looking stylish. i think we should blame BS like this on those stupid "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" guys. JERKS!!!!!
I(69 mage) have done this about 20 times with my 67 bard friend. We clear everything to nadox, everything is a single pull until the mobs nearest to him, but he doesn't aggro if you pull them. I imagine any pet classes can do this. Pull Spiritseker with a mala/tash or some other low aggro spell, and tell pet to go on him. After that do NOT cast any spells on him or you WILL get summoned and have aggro! Bard goes out to find any mob and charms it. When pet gets to low health start casting a new one, the key is to always have 2 pets on him at all times. We've proven that charm can wear off a mob when it's at 2%, so have another class load, as what we call a beeyotch nuke, just to do 2% and finish it. This should be really easy for any pet classes, just maintain 2 pets on him at all times, he does drop fairly nice loot and you can just camp an alt there to loot it. Good Luck all.
roughly on a 3 day spawn timer but can be spawned by shaman working on epic 1.5. He drops a piece for shaman 1.5 so /ooc it if u dont need it for some shaman might be thankful for it.
Duo'd to below 10% EP geared 67 pally tier 2 > geared 65 monk (me)
we pulled to back corner, had to kill the 2 against back wall only. i pulled and pally casted HoT on self and took agro. Proc'd 20% slow on first hit. He kept agro whole time and i DPS'd disc'd the whole time. pally patch healing self. only real problem was slow ran out and pally waited 3 rounds for another proc. eventually ran oom and dropped when Nadox was at abuot 30-35%. I turned on riposte disc and tried hardest to drop him. mend'd disc'd. But slow ran out again and could only get to about 4-5%.
Messing about in Nadox this morning for no good reason I soloed him. 70 beast, decent gear, solid aa's. He dropped the belt and a quest item (I think). Wasn't too bad, just cleared most of his room except for the mobs to the left and right of him against the back wall, crept up to prox aggro and drug him out in the hall (to the left if he was behind you and you were facing away from this altar or whatever it is). I tanked it until I was about 35% health, backed off, healed warder a few times, healed self, got back in and finished it off. Mostly just for fun. Had to reslow one time, nearly oom by end.
Killed this dude yesterday with a 65 pal/dru, both fairly well equipped. Not a short fight, but not really tough. We had no slow, but had no problems keeping my pally alive. I never even supplemented heals, the druid did all the healing.
I seriously doubt this guy is soloable by any class yet, just has too many HP IMHO. I'm not saying for sure, but I would be really impressed to see someone solo this guy. MAYBE a chanter with some serious pet skills, gear, FT, and lots of AA.
I had him down solo to 3% today when I decided to try to chain heal him instead of myself and then when I realized it he interupted me three times :(
I'm 65 shaman in qvic gear, so it's doable I'd say. Was fairly difficult. Mana was fairly low, but I also didn't get lucky on any crit heals of course during the course of the fight.
I duoed this dude with me (65 bst) and my 2box 65 cleric and it was an easy fight. Cleric was down to 47% mana when fight was done. He droped the belt (Grats my Alt druid).
i Duoed this dude with my 2box 65 cleric and it was an easy fight. Cleric was down to 47% mana when fight was over. Droped the belt (Grats my Druid Alt =P).. dont think u can solo him as a BST , not sure tho dident try =P
We cleared his room then engaged him where he stood. Was a pretty easy fight, mage (me) wen't OOM and was regening to nuke during the fight. Druid never even got close to OOM and started nuking near the end. Just watch out for enrage. Dropped the girdle (I wanted the cape).
Magelo Numbers: 519621 Mage 494715 Druid
At the time of this post, mage was WAY pre-elemental non-raiding, druid is barely elemental.
Tried it today with a 65 ele equip beast and a 57 full ornate cleric, got him to 47% before cleric was going oom, plus the fast repops didn't help either. He also never casted an AE, not even once.
Unfortunately I doubt it, I managed to take him down with 4; cleric, druid, monk and myself (Beastlord) all 65. I was best equipped with elemental gear, but would have been possible with maybe you and a cleric, just be carefull of adds/repops.
His AE is easy to resist but he enrages and his mellee capabilities are pretty decent, cleric can pacify room easily though. Dropped the ring for us when we did it.
did him tonight with 4 people, 65 war, cleric, shammy, 51 druid. was pretty easy, i was the cleric started with 75m ended with 40, max hit was 414, took shammy about 5 tries to slow. i wanna try him in a cleric/war duo next time he is up, droped int caster back, and we were all wis casters =/
just did him again with just me and the 65 war, pwned him. droped us the ring, i ended at 26mana. the 34 point cleric ds and the 29 point self ds did most o fhte dmg in the fight. stupid low dps warriors =/
Well just tried him tonight with me (65 mage) and my 65 druid. Got him down to 60 percent but my druid was oom and I had used all my aa abilities to help with dps/healing. My lower level Malosini landed on him just fine and my spells landed on him for full damage.
His bark is worse then his bite. Took him down yesterday. Dropped that nice ring. 2 pets, chanter, and druid. Did not loose one hp. (Cannot say the same for the pets though).
Tried him for the second time last night. 56 shaman, 59 mage, 55 mage, 58 cleric, 55 warrior. His max hit is 414. I slowed him on the second try. Not sure if the mages malX had stuck at that point, but I don't think it had. With my group, it was tough to clear the room before respawns to pull him. We had to reclear the two door mobs and therefore were not fully prepared for him. The AE is not a big deal. Have two primary healers (any with a CH or partial CH) is, IMO. Our Tank went down before my slow landed and he went throught the epic pet like he was picking sunflowers. Unfortunately, I was next. If we had a 6th member in our group, a healer, I think we could have done him but it would have been close.
OK, third time was the charm. Had two full groups ranging from 51-65. Had a 58 SK tank him. We had two adds during the fight and the mages had to handle them because the chanter went down first. Luckily, he was the only one to die. Fight lasted a while and you need one CHer and one patch healer on the tank to be safe, IMO. Fun fight. He dropped the girdle.
*edit* Some more infos: The dot rotting flesh can be remove with the new bard song LoY: Aria of Asceticism (45). The lvl64 slow bard spell is mitigated. Hit around 250 - 350 quick. Summon. The dot is not AE but single. Immune to snare, root. Rage (of course :p ).
I killed him 6 times : 2 rings and 4 shrouds. The group: 1 war 63, 1 cleric 64, 1 wiz 55 and a 65 bard (me). The end is a little strained but doable :p
we kill him last night 6/1/03 with 2 groups of around 60. lull his guards and single pull to the alley next to his chamber. hit hard yes, but we dont have hard time killing it. Occlusion first, then slow nukes etc. drop the girdle. not for bard :(
The description of the spell says PB AE range 300. So yesterday when we did him I expected to get a hit from the dot right after pulling. But it seems the dot is single target since the only one hit was the Main Tank. So if your tank keeps aggro don't really worry about disease resist.
btw. group was 65 war, 62 cle, 63 wiz, 64 dru and 61 mag.
I'd say he has 40-50K HP. Took about 2-3 mins. Respawn in the room is pretty fast say 20 mins so you gotta clean it fast then pull. A lvl 65 can single pull all of the room.
Hope this helps.

We finished the fight with the cleric having around 25% mana left.
Ok, here's some info on this buddy. Do not let his max hit of 414 fool you. This guy quads very fast for 414, kicks for 170ish, and bashes for 170ish. Even with the Shadowknight having over 1200ac, this guy hits hard, and he hits VERY quickly even after a mitigated slow is landed. His DPS is about that, or perhaps a bit more, than an unslowed level 62 golem in PoV just as a perspective. I would imagine this guy having around 35-40k hitpoints, though don't quote me on that.
Do not worry too much about his AE. Though the AE DoT can be a little mean, if you're level 55 and have 100-120ish Disease resists, you shouldn't have any problem resisting it.
A tactic I suggest for taking this guy down is about the same way you would do Vindicator in Kael. If you're facing Nadox, as in looking directly at him, there is a nice place to pull him to to your right. Clear the guards, med a sec, and pull him to the corner. Corner tanking worked very well for this guy, as I would suggest others doing as well. Just make sure the MT is shrunk if possible. Nadox isn't nearly as big as Vindi or Tormax, so corner tanking will look like they're practically inside each other fighting.
Is it worth killing this guy? Yes! Just make sure you have a well rounded group in terms of tanking, damage output, and mana pool for your cleric.
Enjoy! Have fun! And I hope I posted some useful information on this guy. Take it easy guys.

Posted:Mar 31 2003 at 9:01 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Killed the d00d 65 pal my bot 65 chanter 65 ranger and his bot 54 druid, too easy.
#merdenoms,
Posted:May 09 2003 at 6:11 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) He should be an undead mob. The name of the zone speaks for itself. Not all undead see invis. If you bought Shadows of Luclin you should know this by now.
Doesn't see invis (atleast he didn't when I saw him), doesn't necessarily disprove that he's undead but just incase anyone read the post and thought he might.
Strange thing about invis in here. As a 55 Bard i have moved around much of Nadox without being seen except by some of the undead. Was camping near bridge the other nite when i decided to go check to see who was in the undead hallway connecting to Luggald chamber. I asked a ranger in group to invis me so i didn't kill any pets with my song. When I started down the hallway to Luggald chamber a live Troll saw me and the chase was on back to camp. Now I have been thru that hallway many times with my invis and have not been seen yet. Ranger invis didn't drop as I loked to see when I saw the msg that a mob was after me. So if you are in Nadox and invis con everything, everytime. DO NOT depend on invis getting you through untouched.
Percivale Sledgehamer 55 Bard of Antaean Anomalies Vazaelle
I simply meant my post so that people could see roughly what type of gear we had and how easy Nadox is. A couple of days ago we killed him again with;
65 Warrior 65 Cleric 65 Shaman 65 Ranger (am3)
Nadox is VERY easy and I believe Ring to be rare drop, Belt uncommon, and cloak common.
How to get to him: I use the zoneline that has the lava elementals and you can invis all the way to his room. From zone in from lava elementals swim through the lava until you see the bridge overhead. Climb the right wall (being invis the whole time, lava wont break it). If you have the bridge to your back you will see 4 tunnels, one on the right, one straight ahead, one in the left wall and one in the left wall/corner, farthest from you. Take the tunnel straight ahead (not the one on the right wall). It leads straight and to the right, go right. Intersection then is left & straight, go left. Intersection then that goes left & right, go right. Next intersection go left and this is the tunnel before his room. If you keep going straight past his room there is a safe spot right there you can buff and pull to w/o having to clear a wide array of mobs.
Im not going to go into some long post about what my guild can do, or what post ST equip we have, we are called Fluffy Bunnies and we owned this mob with 2 rangers tanking. Dont need some large group to do this, just need something to slow and a good tank, or two 1/2 tanks.... 2 60 ranger 1 60 wiz 1 60 dru 1 60 shaman 1 60 bard 1 64 enc 1 62 cleric
switch off WS while the Wiz, Dru and ENC Nuked. Took about a minute. Dropped cloak.
Fastest route to this guy is to go zone in to Nadox through the zoneline adjacent to the throne room in the castle area of Gunthak. Clear the room and proceed down the hall opposite the zone in. Make a right at the end of the hall and follow the passage around to his room. Takes about 20min to clear every mob in the way.
Our guild is post ST and capable of doing Creator (if this helps you judge his difficulty). I had first checked to see if he was up, and like the picture above he was standing just in front of the large bowl. I dont know what caused it but he despawned and I was definitely puzzled. I pulled the two guards farthest from him, then the 4 directly in front of him. I went to grab the the two that spawn at the doors behind him when I got the following text
[Fri Mar 14 01:43:46 2003] Spiritseeker Nadox says 'You come into my crypt seeking my stone, and my power. I shall tear the last breath from every one of you!' [Fri Mar 14 01:43:46 2003] Spiritseeker Nadox says 'You come into my crypt seeking my stone, and my power. I shall tear the last breath from every one of you!'
and I saw a mob run by but never knew what it was. Then Nadox spawned, luckily I was able to get a DA off and my group quickly moved in. We had 3 adds at first from mobs we were killing at the time. Nadox can double for 414 & kicks for up to 182, however unless your just a lower end guild he wont do much damage to your tank at all. The flesh rot also only procs on the person tanking, its not AE. At lvl 65 & 112 DR I resisted it a couple of times. For the ease of this mob his loots are incredible.
Good Luck to all who kill him.
Xeonio Phobic, Dwarven Archon of Brell Eternal Shadows Rallos Zek
I (54 Druid) went to this zone with 4 guildies (65 Warrior, 65 Pally, 63 Shammy, 55 Chanter) and thought that he would be cool to kill, so we wandered into his temple, killed everybody around him w/o getting aggro from Nadox, and then we started killind Nadox. We got him down to 60% and I had to succor us out, because all of us were OOM and pally had LoH'ed, so he is pretty tough compared to his lvl.
We were in Nadox last night and we were killing in the temple area. Im not sure what spawned him, but a untargetable prophet wondered up to the alter and then Spiritkeeper Nadox spawned. Also, if you kill the Broken Skull Prophet a whole story line with unfold with triggered spawn, sorta like a ring war. You kill the names and then a Giant Troll spawns, hitting for 400ish fast. This is just from what we saw last night
His max hits is 414, average at around 220. Mitigates slow, summons and procs Rotting Flesh.
The locals in room and in the tunnel outside his room respawns quite fast, so you have to clear the tunnel and the room needed to pull the Spiritseeker fast, to avoid add's while your fighting him. 6-8 static's in the room, 3-4 outside and a occasional roamer.
Serverfirst attempt was shm 62, shm63, ranger 64 which failed in 10 secs or so. Turned to shaman after malo and slow and took him down within a few secs. It takes a tank, slower (although its partly successfull) and a healer. Most important is crowdcontrol or speed, though - because of the low respawntime on locals....
When SHM (me), CLR, WAR, BAR, CLR and MAG (all over 62) took him down he dropped the Int-cloak Wolvyrine mentioned (ac9, dex5, int4, hp25, mana100, sv fire/magic +8) Would have liked to see the ring... ah well.
