this bat poofed to the front of the cave around 15% brought at least 4 goblins with it on the way back. advice would be mez memblur pass it up

Another strategy for groups without classes capable of memblurring is to always engage it with a goblin. The bats assist the goblins and vice versa, so even if you are just holding the gobby there mezzed, the bat won't run or poof. This worked for my group when I (Bard)was on sole CC duty.
