Missed always something even after killing Agnarr. Now I found out that:

1. Kill Agnarr
2. Hail Karana and say "I will follow the path of the Fallen"
3. -> THEN get the Flag
4. -> "I have new lore" to the Guy in the highest Tower

Just soloed him on my 85sk. 960aa, 40k hp buffed, 5.2k ac buffed.

Pulled him up stairs, into room with water. Got self into corner, jumped on mount. Mount allows u to not be spun, get stunned but only for a sec. Plus adds got farther to go to get to you. Anyways, jumped on mount. Used epic 2.0 click, swarm pet aa. HT, clicked Circle of Power 1 from Old Man raid 2h axe, and did all 5 instant dots i had. He was 50% in no time. Kept doin melee. As adds came i would switch my attention to them, throw 3 dots per, and whack on em a few seconds, once low enough would switch back to Agnarr cause they would die from riposte hits. Throw in heal pots as needed, lifetaps, and leechcurse disc as well. Sittin in the corner keeps all the adds from pushing u around. If needed do a quick swap to sword and board for deflection while tappin to full health.

Looked a bit hairy a few times but did it.

Duo'd today with a 71 bard was about 2 hour fight from start to finish.

Make sure to get portals down first they each have about 100k hp. Then focus on adds then named giant then agnarr.

My group beat Emmerik the 2nd tower boss to head to Agnarr. When Askrr appeared he said something about going to the most dangerous level of the tower to face someone who controlled the (Storm). We all used the key word in almost every sentence imaginable but he wouldnt port us up to Agnarr level. Anyone know exactly what to say to him to get ported to this level after defeating Emmerik?

then target the chaotic vortex that spawns behind him and double right-click the vortex to get ported up to agnarr.

he is lvl 75 minor raid encounter anymore probly 2 - 3 groups tops pending who you are and what gear you have PoP is pure pwnage anymore

killed him last night on Seventh Hammer i tanked kited him around the room till first giant spawns killed him then raid came to agnarr beat him till next giant spawned want killed him and left 4 grps on agnarr while others were killing giants killed him in about 10 mins total hit me for max of 1463 ramps and enrages alot and hits very fast i think best clip was like 8 hits in a swing averaging out at about 5k hp total but didnt worrie about it had 10 clerics on raid chain healing quick heal on me tanked him with 11.7k hp easy fight once u kill all the adds

Our guild took him down rather flawlessly last nite. About 45 in raid and only ONE wizard. No EP/Time gear or anything like that. Basically had one warrior TM each giant in the first two levels while chanters mezzed or rooted adds. Main raid force took the portals, then the adds, and finally the giant.

For Agnarr we had a tank, cleric and ranger go up first. Ranger kited the Storm Lord around the outside of the lower room and tank got the attention of the giant that spawned. Raid force came up and repeated the steps from below: Portals, adds, giant. Agnarr was then moved into upper room and reversed pin in a corner with 3 groups banging on him while rest of raid handled giants. After last giant down, whole rade force went up and took down Agnarr. Few deaths during the whole fight and only one or two on Agnarrs level. Several new EP flags after this.

Hasgra's Wrath spell does not affect any named giant that spawns as Agnarr is killed. Its effect is restricted to other giants elsewhere.

for my first tier 3 boss aggy is a bish his spawn time is around 6 days hits for 600-1400(a lil into 1400 so 1500 really) hits fast very fas i'd say 6-10 hits per swing if you want to think of it that way we wasted him every 25% he spawns a giant they attack the trick is to have aggy engaged by thhe MA and have him keep arggo on aggy with like 5+ clerics on cheal chain him using DI and def as much as possable then have rest go kill the giants waste them down have druids heal if yo ugot alot of clerics mabe oen to heal MA on giants once giant is dead have the whole raid force on aggy till next 75 50 or 25 % kill him down then all leave for the giant cept MA and keep repeateing once last igant spawns have a druid orranger kite it around a but and burn aggy away loot em the giants drop unadorned ring of aggy and aggy drops well look up =) after that everyone runs up the stairs in the tower and see karana where you say the words and presto you've completed aggy.

i'd reccomend a tank of 9khp raid buffed or better for aggy and lotsa clerics then i'd say 8k or so or better for giants.

Agnarr, like all mobs in PoP, is a 3day respawn.

Only Time is on a different time in this expantion. Pre time ALL MOBS are 3day respawn give or take 12hours. Time Mobs are 5.5day exactly.

Two nights ago My guild attempted Agnar for the first time on The Nameless Server. The Wizards were assigned specific portals to Disintegrate ahead of time so when we went up, they were taken out immediately. First floor was a piece of cake with 5 wizards looking to use our Seldom used Disintegrate spell. On the Second floor we had to wait for the Tash to hit, and then we were able to take out all but one Portal at the top. After that it was a challenging fight. We almost wiped when a named popped or came through Portal, but we had the secondary Tanks on him and were victorious.

Me and my guild have attempted this guy 3 times since the portals became disintagratable again, and wiped horribly to Agnarr himself. He used to be as easy for us as a 65 wiz solo'ing every mob in crushbone at once. He resists most spells more often (especially snare) and for some odd reason he seems much more powerful... at least on vazaelle anyway.

also note you must tash them or you will get resist...if you get resist on portal THREE more mobs will pop out and come get

Did Agnarr tonight. The portals on the 2nd level could NOT be disengrated. I don't know if this is a bug, or the new way this even goes, but beware if you're doing it.
I'm on the tribunal, but I asked wizzy's on other servers and they are see the same problem.

Had the same problem , tried last week with guild on first ever agnarr attempt. Got to second stage no problems but with portals un killable. Needless to say we wiped and gave up

Last night we went back , decided to place a group at each portal , offtanking the mobs while the rest of the raid concentrated on named from range attack only.

It worked , but we had about 15 mobs which we had to get through before medding/rezzing and getting to agnarr stage but its till doable. I hope its a bug cos it was **** tough

Altho that night agnarr fell to 54 Pikeys , portals in 3rd stage were destroyable ( Apart from the one that spawns the named) Was a lot of fun

We tried this guy a few days ago for the first time as a guild, and met with a few unexpected surprises that I thought I would mention here, even though we did manage to kill him.

First of all, he has two AEs, not one.
One is Rage of the Rainkeeper, as mentioned above.
The other is simply called "Manastorm".
Note that it is slightly different from the spell Mages get, being that it is more powerful.

Recommend that you have a bard playing MR resist song for all healers in the vicinity to avoid the Manastorm AE, because it WILL drain their mana, and the DD effect isn't too pleasant either.
MR of around 350+ should resist the AE almost every time.

The second surprise was that the portals that we destroyed at the beginning (courtesy of our Wizards) magically reappeared when Agnarr was down to about 18% health, as well as the elementals that accompany them shortly after.

No one timed it, but I would estimate that the portals respawned 20-30 minutes after they were taken down, so you will need to be brisk with killing Agnarr or be prepared to handle them when the time comes.

Coming from a level 55, I'd guess your a bit new and like to tell bed time stories. 2 necros couldn't handle a BoT wing boss......I doubt they'd do Agnarr.

Dude, I think the person who told you that is seriously yanking yer chain. Agnarr isn't a standalone fight, and even if he was, he would resist about anything those necros would toss at him, summon them, and make fine paste in about 3 seconds.

Like all the Agnarr Tower encounters, kite around Agnarr until all the portals are gone(there is one that is unkillable, however). His AE, when only hitting one person, is annoying at best.

When all the adds are nice and dead, let the tanks get agro. His melee is 1.4k a hit(without defensive), he can quad. Now, this part is important - his AE is notorious for leaving healers and casters at a total loss of mana. Make sure your casters know to get far away from Agnarr when they are not casting anything, or need to med. MGB Paragon works wonders here.

At intervals of 25% life, Agnarr will spawn a level 67 named giant. Have everyone except for 2-3 tanks and the CH chain get to work on the giant. Once he's dead, resume beating on Agnarr until the next Giant spawns.

Melees can die alot during this fight because healers will go oom and stay oom due to the AE. It may be wise to have a cleric dedicated to running around clicking people and doing nothing else.

The first thing you need to do is gain acess to the towers.

-Ring of Torden (4slot Container)*
-One gem from each of the four main wings in BoT. Blizzard, Sandstorm, ect.

*Drops from the named Mobs in each wing (Gaukr Sandstorm, Oreen Wavecrasher ect)

That will result in an Enchanted Ring of Torden which gets you into the 4 towers.

Now for the Agnarr key.
You need:
-Unadorned Symbol of Torden(4 slot container)*
-4 spheres from each tower/wing*2

*Drops from each tower's named mob.
*2 Drops in each tower and from Kriger's in the lower wings.

Agnarr, my new friend, had a high hit of 1406. Seemed to be, though I died too quick to be sure, that he did triple, maybe quad the hit.

7 mobs are in the room with him, so CC is a must for this fight. There are the swirly rock things that are charmable, as well as 'comets' and a cloud. They all hit rather hard. Not sure of the other mobs are charmable. Some can be banished, though I am not sure which ones, I think the rocks. Did not see this myself, heard from someone who did this before.

I would suggest, though there are probably better strategies out there, that you assign at least one group per mob to be CC'd. They agro and ping-pong like no bodies business. Charmed mobs go and get ol' Agnarr with the MT.

My 2 cps, anyway. :)

actually the best tatic is when you get up there tis him and 1 other .. you must get wizards and dmg dealers on destroying the portals.. wizards use distnergrate.. MT and healers stay on agnarr .. the reaon you get so many adds is they come thru the portals .. there is 1 portal you cant destroy so yes you will get 1 add like every 5 mins

got just one question tho.. how do you gain acces to his tower??? my guild wants to try him soon but i dunno how to get acces to him .. well i know ya need the symbol of Torden and how to get that but what i do not know is what this symbol does.. does it give acces to agnar? and if so does 1 symbol suffice for the whole guild or do you need 1 of them for each group????

Basically, you kill a named mini-boss to get a ring. Fill the ring with 4 stones, one from each of the four wings, and click combine for the final product.

Actually, the info you gave him is for access to the towers. Once in the towers, you need to kill each tower boss (not mini) to get access to Agnarr. The procedure is the same, the bosses drop a ring to combine in, and in each tower (NE, NW, SE, SW) stones are dropped to combine. They are much more rare than the ones in lower BoT tho (they MAY even just drop off the named, I can't remember).

These tower bosses are no joke, the air one gfluxes, the lightning one dispells (no charm pets :P), and if I remember right, the cold (SE) one has a dd (not sure cuz when my charm broke, I was dead fast :P). We take 4 CoD chanters (along with other raid forces) to these guys (cept lightning). When I went down, another chanter had my pet targeted and carried on. The tower bosses also drop PoP bps.
Not so coldy charted, it's merely just a question of your honesty...

dont need to kill each of the tower bosses, just need to kill one !
then fill that symbol with wing drop stones. combine . one person opens up the door by clicking on it . and it remains open for about 30 sek i think. not sure on time. all zone in .. kill first giant . go up . kill next guy .. get stone swirling thingie to spawn . click on that to port up to agnarr . kill him .run up stairs . hail karana . and u get flag.

zerging in PoP is one of the losing tactics. In an era of gaming where mobs have enough hps that a group of 6 manaburn-capable wizards could not take them down alone (if chain manaburn was still possible), the only thing that Zerging leads to is more corpses. More battles are now being won by having the right strategy and/or tactics when facing mobs. You cannot fight Terris Thule flawlessly without knowing about the massive AE dispell ahead of time. You cannot fight Manaetic Behemoth flawlessly without knowing about AE silence (which screws with CH chains). I could go on, but why?

Umm, don't you play on a PvP server there bud? Isn't that kind of what you would expect on a PK server? Actually if you look at it in a different light, Karana is one of very few gods who DOESNT die, and therefore is alive the longest/most!

Actually, none of the gods "die". It is stated that each "god" that the mortals encounter is in fact just a small fraction of that god's essence. So in reality, when a god is killed, it is just a tiny portion of that god that has been destroyed.
