The Protector of Dresolik  

I had just killed this guy and got turned around during the fight, so I mistakenly started running back out the way that I came in instead of going out the next door, and there in the places of the 3 red devil Diablo-looking guys that I had killed before the 4 Guardian of Dresolik and The Protector of Dresolik were exact copies of the Diablo-devil guys but were called 'a warder of Dresolik'.

Now, I don't know if I am the first one to have ever seen these 'warders' like this, even after all of these years after this content has been out, but I imagine I might have been since everyone just continues on out the next door instead of mistakenly going the wrong way back out the door that they came in and just happen to see them, but there is no mention anywhere of these 'warders' anywhere on this site.

They are untargettable. I don't really have any other information on them other than what the particular ones that I saw looked like. I'll investigate further to see if any others pop up in the zone after certain boss kills and what they look like.

GamParse pulls information directly out of my log file. Solo'd him without any endurance (because his lackeys used it all up.)

85 Berserker, 45kish hps buffed. No discs/abilities used, 289 seconds to kill him.

This guy is level 75 we are about to engage him now =)

I have done all the mini's many times but have never had to pull dres. When I entered the room he was always there and being a bard I never paid attention tot rack considering I can't track past my feet. SO...I read something saying that you spawn dres by killing his 4 guards. Is this true? None of the other mini's are like this and now that I am leading raids in the towers I want to knock down dres to finish up my guilds chamber flag. They are all gravy but can NEVER catch Dres up. Maybe this is why? WTF I never even heard tht before.

Treat this fight like someone pulling too many mobs. Get all the guardians in the room mezzed, have tank kill one by one. Then engage protector of dresoslik by the far door. Keep MT healed and its all gravy.

Did this guy today.

We had a raid force of about 25, he is up the right hand staircase path in the center, not the far right one, but the one to the left of it.

Unlike with Arylxir, Xuzl, and Rizlona, you need to cover a ton of ground to get to this guy, it took us literally a few hours with all the mephits in the way. There are also 5-6 named minis (look like Xuzl) to deal with, these proc a curse that needs RC/GRC to remove. They're not bad at all once slowed. One dropped a spec, the rest nada.

Once you get up to his chamber, there are 3 guardians that need to be killed for him to spawn. These are tethered and warp back to spawn if you try to pull them out of room. They are rootable and slowable. During the fight, we had 3 of the magmen either pop and add or split pop off the Guardians, like with Galremos. It wasn't clear which.

The Protector does NOT pop on the death spot of the third Guardian on the last kill, we were worried about that. Rather, he pops back near the door at the back of the chamber, so you can med up before fighting him. He is also slowable, and is about the same difficulty as the other demi-gods.
Getting to him is all of the battle, basically.

Annoyingly, there are 5 more of the lava giants after the boss before the flag pot, unlike with any of the other demis I have mentioned. We were tired and just wanted to get flagged and get out, but nooooo.

Dropped the greatsword and caster ranged.

Sweet! It's The Thing from the Fantasic Four! I've been wondering what happened to him. How very good of Sony to rip off of DC too!
