Good to use TRACK to find this guy. At one point I found him treading water under "water" or whatever foul liquid is found in the ponds in this beautiful zone. He does wander out onto land though. The good thing is you're less likely to aggro local trash if you drop invis to talk with him under water.
Maybe you should find something useful to do rather than ***** Quest seekers?
Ya think?
Personally I wish Sony would just make ALL Quest mobs targetable but unattackable and invalid as a target for spell or pets and immune to AE affects of spells, procs, etc.
Maybe THAT would get the lazy sots off their fat botted ***** and allow folks to complete quests as intended rather than whining at the long respawn times of things they shouldn't be killing in the first place.
If you don't like my opinion of that sort of player, especially if you ARE that kind of player, save your responses... you will not improbe that sort in my mind... you will only further solidify it.

This is a -role- playing game so why shouldn't players be able to kill the quest npcs? They could kill them if it was real life... there'd be nothing to stop them then so why should there be in a game thats based on playing a character to suit a role that you have chosen? I could state more on the matter but the above poster is an idiot anyways who states that people who "***** questers" should find something better to do when he should find something better to do than whine when something doesnt go his way.
He is not Immune to fear but must be an amzingly high resist to it. I cast trpidation on him 5 times to test it out I am 65th level and he RESISTED ever time.
Easy kill tho.
Agro kite and boom 2 blue of AA xp. His re-spawn time is definately higher than 40 minutes. So an hour seems correct.
Easy tho. Hunt Flies or rats then add him into the mix. Good solo xp even at 65.
Easily soloable at 50, when you have Disease, Poison, Flame and Cold. Watch out for adds while doing your circles though. Since he is so close to the zone line you can kill him and then run to zone to break aggro, and if using a good drum, the mobs will get no where near the Entrance point when you zone out. Be courteous though and do a long loop after he dies to give yourself a good lead to the zone line.
With self buffs and KEI, I managed to kill this guy using the good old root/med soloing method. Just nice to know us Paladins can still solo stuff if we really want to =)
Gave about 4% AA at 65. Not worth the time, but it's fun if you're bored =)
I solo him with my druid all the time. I just charm a diseased rat, buff it with Savage Spirit and thorns, and snare Grimror about 10 times. Then I just run circles around him and let the pet beat on him. With the pet maxing for around 250 it takes about 3-4 minutes to take him down. He also enrages so watch out ;)
hell if ur a smart bard u can solo him starting lvl 55ish, i pull him with bombastic then just use 4 dots with selos chourus so that u mad out run him and then keep dotting and refreshing selos, only prob is he has alotta hp to be solo'd but the xp is great
He might well be for a quest of sorts, but damn he is great experience! he does not summon, and only melee's.. But, don't let the oggur smack you, he maxes for 471's on me with almost every shot.. being a caster, I go down very fast if he so much as even touches me.
There is no faction hit with him whatsoever either, so you can kill him over and over again. Only sad thing is his slowish respawn time (around 20-30 minutes).
He cannot be feared, but, hate kiting is definately in. For myself, it is a matter of making him hate me more than anything else around him. By the time though that he has darkness, cessation of cor, splurt, ignite blood and a few other nasties, nothing will get him off me. Refresh dots as needed while on the run and let the melee's and pets smack away madly after he's one bubble down in health or so.
For a level 60 mob, his resists are remarkably low, trust me on that. I was 57th level when I first started the hate kiting part on him. Put it this way, it only took myself, my husband (55SK) and a 58th beastlord to bring him down.
Mwuahahaha. Try it sometime.
