a murkwater minnow  

Was down in the water and killed 4 of these today and one dropped an item called "Minnow Brain" I haven't seen that before, only rarely shiny minnow scales, anyone know what it is for? They are not lore or no drop, and they are stackable. BTW these fish are pretty buggy, at least the ones near the cave for untel`dak. If you aggro them and run out of the water they will warp out of the water, hit you, and then warp back into the water, very annoying and hard to stop them from doing it. They might only do it when you are not moving, but running in circles doesn't help much since you can't very well run up to the zone from the bottom of the cliff to zone out.

These guys are blue to a level 64. All the 53/54th level mobs in zone are light blue to me, and since these are dark, they must be at least 55???

Anyway, they are not animals, they are monsters. I attempted a glamour of tunare on them, and it said I could only cast it on animals, therefore they ain't no animal.

I have been bitten by these dudes on the shoreline, while I was out of the water, but I think that's a bug. When I've actually purposely hunted them, and have then been forced to run to the shore, they never followed.

My own opinion is, there's a lot easier ways to get xp than these dudes. I've killed a bunch to see if they drop anything. After about 20 kills, I've only seen small scales.
