There seems to be a fair bit of conflicting info here, so I thought I would summarise...
I have killed hundreds of these and this has been my experience.
Always level 56
Max hit 355
Slowable, mezzable
Cannot be rooted or snared
Do NOT summon
Never had one enrage
Do not run or gate
Not totally sure on hit points. Maybe 12-15,000?
Regarding stuns: I get a "your target is immune to the stun portion of this effect" when my CHoS procs, but I have also noticed that sometimes when I back away they take a few seconds to follow. I need to look more closely to see if this coincides with a stun from a kick.
Edit: It seems to be the bash from a shammy pet (true spirit) that causes the stun, but I also forgot that the Planar Strike on my SotBS will stun even when the CHoS doesn't work.
At least 5 of the ones outside the cave can be single pulled quite nicely if you do them in the right order.
They drop ethereal parchments, maybe one in 30 kills.
At level 61 they give about 1.5% AA per kill with 4 chars (58 WAR, 61 DRU, 61 SHM, 60 ENC). We can comfortably kill 20 per hour, so that's an AA point every 3 hours or so - not too shabby at that level.

I think 15k HPs might be correct. I do 336 damage per tick in DoTs, and that takes around 2% of their life.

my bard pulls these guys all the time working on aa's at lvl 65 with a tdok his dots do 117 per tic and crit for 234 occasionally with 4 dots for total of 468 per tic this is 3% health usually 15-16k ish hps. and EP's can vary greatly i have seen nights when i pull all but the scourge at once and charm kite them and no EP's drop all night then other nights when guildies join me for some entertainment and had 2-3 drop in one pull.. in the last three days i know i have had 10 or so drop in total of about 2-3 hours per day pulling... fun camp and not bad on aa's ,just hate when i accidentally move to close and aggro the scourge's cause i can take em but when you got 8 or more goblins added in with em and they summon you lol dont take long for that health meter to go from 100% to 5%

Pathing appears to have been fixed. two parchs in maybe 2.5 hours. hit 355 max, FAST. slow ASAP, doesnt matter if shammy gets aggro for a few seconds if they have decent hp, it will take less mana to heal them then it would take to heal the tank if they are unslowed. various bd/diamonds/raw diamonds also dropped. Enrage = autoriposte from frontal attacks in case any of you didnt know, very nasty. have all melee go to back, and MT turn of autoattack when it enrages. immune to root/snare, however I NEVER had one summon me.

I've been wanting to take these guys out but as a druid root/doting and kiting isnt gonna work cause of the summon factor. Was wondering if any of you druid fools out there have taken a shot at trying to put a Nightstalker up against one?(Charmed of course =P) Obviously the hobgoblins will outdamage one in melee but hell, sometimes blood ravens do =P It seems to me you have enough mana to keep the nightstalker healed and alive through the whole fight and then some. My big worry is that what happens when my charm breaks in the middle of a fight? (Call of Karana...Its gonna be about 7 more AA for Dire Charm) Is the Hobgoblin gonna summon me cause of the damage my now non-existent pet did, while i run away and recharm? Or will they both wander in my direction quietly like cows to the slaughterhouse?
Lev 60 btw. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This mob cannot be snared or rooted to my knowledge, but it does not summon. So if your charm breaks in the middle of the fight...well hope that helps :)

I've been soloing these guys for about a week now with my 55 bard on Karana. Just before logging today the last one I killed dropped a horror trinket. No stats, magic/lore tradeable. Anyone have ANY clue what it is used for. I have yet to find any information on it anywhere. Look me up on Karana if you know. I rarely check my posts right away for responses lol.

These guys have also been known to drop Peridots. Seen about 3 of them drop last night in a couple hours time. Not great, but at least it helps keep the clerics stocked

My group tonight killed 61 of these guys ...... SIXY ONE ! We did not see a single parchment drop. Prior to tonight's hunt we would get about 1 every 2-3 hours or so on average.
Can anyone confirm or deny parchment drops since the latest patch ( 11 / 19 / 2002 ) or did they nerf this like everything else so far?

12/30/02 Plenty of Parchments today.
At least one an hour to an hour and a half with constant pulling.

I have seen one ethereal parchment drop off these regular hobgoblins in two weeks of hunting there so the drop rate is TERRIBLE. Have never seen that mask drop. These do not gate or summon, the Scourge Hobgoblin does and is bugged badly! Read up on him before pulling.
immune to snare, run fast hit hard and fast, one of tougher common mobs here.

Pulled one of these yesterday, and it conned Even to my lvl 58 Shaman.
Summoned, Nuked and (to our extreme detriment) Gated. So at 20 percent: Nuke, Nuke, Nuke.
We didn't and were summoned to our deaths in short order. Thank CT for the GY.

These guys aren't too tough - they hit about 350 max but normally about 120ish. There's some astonishingly bad pathing around them though so expect adds unless you have a FD puller.
They also ENRAGE at the end of the fight.
