Iony is now also involved with the newer newbie armor quests that start in PoK with V'lynn Renloe. After completing a trial, V'lynn will give you a note which is to be turned in to Iony. Iony will then give the appropriate piece of newbie armor.

Not sure if this is on all servers or not, but Iony has been "missing" for the last week on the E'ci server. It has been petitioned, but so far....
