For the last two months, the Goblin Wizard has been an irregularly regular spawn at all the various goblin camps in Butcherblock. When it and the Shaman pop together it gets...interesting. Made the lvl 11 Ranger mistake of thinking I could attack the Wizard from a distance(just love my bow). Nope, up close and personal is the only way so that you have some chance of stopping his casting. The Shaman is a lot easier to kill. Be sure to put on your flame retardant Jams before engaging.

Ok, Since there were no posts on this guy I'll start it with what I know.
I have run across this Wizard several times, always in the same two situations.
1: Somehow (and I don't know how) he will show up inside the Dock area. He'll start near the shoreline by the piers, and head toward the gate out into the hills. He seems to attack any character he finds on sight. He has conned Red to my 5th. level cleric and come all the way to the other side of the dock area to kill me. High agroe there. If he makes it past the guards (50-50 chance?) he'll start to roam up the trail till he dies or gets to Crazed Camp.
2: He will appear when you attack the named Ogre "Corflunk". He won't get into the fight, he'll just stand and watch. If you kill Corflunk you should have time to heal up (spells) before he wanders off. Kill him and he sometimes will drop a Green Goblin Head, a vial of blood, a weapon, etc. or a combination of things.
Be prepared. His favorite spell is a Cold spell.(Ice frost? Shock of Frost? something)
