I like the fact that there are not many of us out there. It gives me pride when people mistake me for a Shadow Knight, and I stick my chest out and say, "No, I am an Iksar Warrior!" People are pretty amazed that we actually exist. Especially in the high end game. The road is tough, but well worth the journey.

As for our usefulness, we make excellent tanks. Sure, we don't have the strength of an ogre or troll, nor the stamina. But in the end, we beat all others out on AC, which is more important than what most people give it credit for. What is a warriors job? To tank. AC is a big factor on who you stick on the front line to take those hits. Sure, I may not have the HP of a ogre or troll, but with higher AC, I won't need to. I will be taking less hits, or the hits will do less damage to me. As long as I can hold that agro, so that the others can do their job, then I am doing mine.

For my other Iksar brothers out there, look at getting into Dragon armor from Western Wastes if you can. Damn good armor till you get planar. Axegoreth Belt of Defense: AC 20, +15 STR/WIS. You can twink out an Iksar Warrior with good gear and out AC any tank out there. With jewelry and other items, like the Str of Grodan, you can build up the base STR/STA as well. Plus we get Regen. Oft times we will get done with a major fight, I will sit down, slap on my Iksar Regen BP, bandage up, then regen the rest while other non-Troll/Iksar warriors are only barely over half, ready to pull and tank the next mob.

Iksar warriors make excellent tanks. I am proud of my decision to make one, and damn proud that I stuck it out.
