Shadows of Luclin
Won this last night, I tanked for the fight chain stunning to keep aggro, I'm a lvl 52 Paladin, with 5160hp 1127ac. We had one group a 61 bard, a 55 shaman, 58 ranger, cleric 57, druid 58 and a duel boxed warrior lvl 52 outside the group. It was a long fight about 8 mins spirit hits pretty fast until slowed, ranging from 60 to just over 200dmg so we easily kept up with the healing great fun! and 2 of these drop and a Bracer of Quickness nice lootz! used it after the win on a few pulls 2hb skill is 202 at the momment and damage was ok hitting in the 60's ~ 70's max hitting for 168. good luck getting it ~

I was one very happy beastlord when i won this. dropped of Spirit of Radiz, looks like a staff of writhing when equiped. the fight with the spirit of radiz took 8 minutes, but we only had one group, and a 2 boxed wizard to get us the hell outta there.

i got this about 2 weeks ago, my first nodrop toy. i had never been in umbral before, but i had been wanting an earring of endless speed forever... saw the DMs chanting, and ended up leading the d00m raid. dropped his azz in under 3 min 20 seconds. i had never used 2hb before, but i won this, and i havent let go of it since. i love it

This thing dropped tonight, guild was through raiding and we took an xp group up in there and I got a 2 blues towards 60 in under and hour and a half (go me) Anyhow we made it back, killed his PH, then took him out...took like...ohh 5...6 minutes>....something like that. Interesting fight. BTW he HATES dots, I couldn't pull the thing off our shaman for like a minute straight, she said she casted pox. Rod and Bracelet of beauty dropped, Rod was gonna rot so I picked it up, which sorta sucks cuz 2hb is the only thing I NEVER trained in :( now I gotta work at it for this puppy, not a bad weap, although there are better, but not for this easy a fight.

Hehe talk about waste, I looted this just now cuz it was gonna rot. No one wanted it. Ubah shaman melee toy, too bad no monks were around or something. Oh well.

When equiped, this staff has the same appearance as the staff that Preist of Discords wield. Or, for all you necros out there, its appearance is just like a Staff of Writhing.
It looks like a long stick with a skull at the tip. It would be cool for a paladin to wield this to beat down undead.
I passed on it last night because I have a sword with similar stats and I'm not greedy (it was awarded to a warrior - what a waste), but once that big dumb ogre put it in his hands, and I saw the skull, I was so jealous.

Got my own staff tonight! It doesn't look as menacing when wielded by a dorf as it does when a big dumb ogre has it in his hands, but it still looks cool. Now the two of us can beat down Radir with his own weapon until the whole guild gets one.
I was so anxious to kill Radir that, at one point in the fight, I got chain summoned and had to tank for a few rounds due to aggro. I casted every nuke and stun in my spell book. I wanted him BAD and he wanted me BAD. I wanted this weapon even MORE. It is mine now MUAHAHAHA!

got one last night off radir. he dropped very easily, took several minutes, but we prevailed with no deaths.
one sweet weapon this is, highest hit so far is 190 something and i used it all of 10mins, so i'm sure that wasnt the max :) definatly worth getting. thanks to siege for hooking me up :)

My 54 Troll Warrior got this tonight. Getting regular hits in the 180's and the occassional crit over 300.
Maximum damage goes up by level. Hitting max 180's and 190's at 54, hitting around 220 max with this at 58.
NOTE: Got a Narandi's Lance yesterday. That will probably be the main weapon for my warrior for a while unless he really needs the extra resists provided by the Rod.

Open your eyes and look around at the mobs, perhaps you'll figure it out.

had one drop last night, looks like the PoD's stick when equiped makes for a strange sight on a paladin but awesome stats, glad i got my 2hb maxed would love to add this to my ********
this is about on par with the SK epic. why am i busting my *** for something i could get from 1 mob drop? tell me! :)
I tell you what... the SK epic is one of the coolest looking swords out there. Not just, "yeah, that's cool..", but more like, "holy ****, that looks ******* sweet".
I'm going to do my Soulfire just to be able to walk around with a flaming sword.
Face it, looks are a big part of EQ, as it is in real life. I would spend a week doing my epic just for the fun/looks of it. I would spend a month if I could get a sword that looked like the SK epic, even if it was 1/150 str-100 sta-100 effect:snare on wielder.

Also, unless I'm mistaken. Innoruk's Curse also allows smaller races to bash when equipped.

Maybe cause the SK epic procs a 500 damage Lifetap DoT about every swing?
It doesn't. Effect on epic is a 250dmg lifedrain over time.
the ONLY class that can't use this is rogues.....i find that funny for some strange reason....*shrug*

Correct me if I"m wrong, but are not rogues the only class that cannot train in 2HB? If so, that would explain their (our actually) inability to use this item.
Rogues and Bards can neither effectivly use any 2 hand weapons. There are some out there that they can use, but they cannot get their skill above 1.

Heya Marma...Bards and Rogues can't train in 2hb...if rogues were able to...why would they? Can't backstab with anything but piercing
