I was hoping this would be something similar to song of sustenance or have some sort of sustenance effect, so I bought this to try it out. Stood next to another character who was out of food and hungry. Cast the Satiation effect. Everybody yawned and about 10 seconds later the other character complained about being hungry and out of food.
So, unless you enjoy seeing the emotes and such, this item seems to be worthless.

The effect is to make others around you yawn. As per description - "cause those around you to yawn as if sated".
What you may be interested in is Crown of Feathers Nimbus - "Wear a crown of feathers. Additionally you will be more sated, allowing food and drink to last longer"
The nimbus would be similar to Jimothy Jr. from the anniversary quest which also cuts down of food/drink consumption.
