It takes quite a while to get a full stack of each candy. Took me about a week on and off of grabbing candy when I wasn't busy.

The one that was free in the /market for one day only on October 28, 2011, was actually not this item, but the following item with the same name:

Candy Dish (Lore)

This current item is the one that is available for purchase in /market around this time of the year for 200 Station Cash:

Candy Dish (Heirloom)

You can tell them apart because the one-day-only free one is Lore/No-Trade, while the non-free one is Non-Lore/No-Trade/Heirloom.

It says placeable in houses and yards and certain open zones. Where are the certain open zones? I tried several zones with no luck.

This item's placement description is different from most others, which is where the question comes from.

Most placeable item can be placed in yards and houses, such as Rusty Dagger:

"This item is placeable in yards and houses."

Some items are only placeable inside houses, such as Obstructive Werewolf:

"This item is placeable in houses."

Some items are only placeable in yards, such as The Punting Gnome:

"This item is placeable in yards."

Howerver this one (Candy Dish, Heirloom version) says:

"This item is placeable in yards, houses and certain open zones."

The question is, which "certain open zones" other than yards and houses?

Please note that this item's "placement description" also said this in October 2010 when it was first introduced, and isn't new for October 2011.

I have not yet been able to determine which "certain open zones" this refers to either.
